I killed my CANA mod. What should I get next????

Long story short, I was attempting to replace the stripped out 510 connector and I accidently ran the drill bit I was using to drill out the old one into the the board. I knocked off the onboard fire button and cut the positive wire. I had recalled that some people remove the fire button from the dna (or clone) boards. So after a little investigating, I decided to repair the wire and try it out. It worked! (For about 30 mnuntes.) Now I just get the Check Atomizer fault. Tried several atty's and verified with an ohmeter that the correct resistance was present at the 510 with an atty screwed in. I had always figured that if the the clone board died, that I would just replace it with a genuine Evolv board. Now looking at the price of the boards, I am thinking that I might as well just get a new mod.

I have an istick 20W that I use with a mini nautilus for my out and about setup. I have been really impressed with it. I was thinking about just getting the istick 50W for use with my rba's and RTA's. I don't really build for huge clouds and the 30W was plenty adequate.

Any other recommendations? I would like to keep the price below ~$75 and I prefer that the size be no bigger than the CANA 30W case size.

If you decide to get the iStick 50W, be sure you read up on the auto-fire issues many have been reporting with their 50s. istick 50 watt exploded | E-Cigarette Forum

My 50 has never auto-fired (knock wood) but I now remove my atomizer whenever I charge it or leave it unattended, just to be safe.
