Sorry, I just noticed this thread, but I've already posted in another thread that we'll report as soon as the rest of the board has been briefed. Julie still hasn't come back home yet - she went on a trip right after the meeting. The board is meeting tomorrow night.
Please know that the FDA told them they could not repeat comments the FDA panel said (probably because of what happened recently with the "online sales bans" reports after other listening sessions). They will be able to share the presentations we took to show the FDA and relay their own feelings about how they think it went, but that is about it.

Just to clarify (as it was clarified to me today), there was no formal or written "confidentiality agreement" or "gag order." It was just made very clear at the meeting that repeating what was said by the panel was frowned upon. As CASAA would like to keep a relationship with the FDA (ie. not be shut out) we will honor that request.

I've been checking the CASAA site and as of just now, was not able to find anything. Is there a "special members area" I should be checking or have they just not had a chance to get anything up yet?
I'm sorry, I don't think they had a chance to get the statement finished yet. Dr. Phillips said he'd be at the member meeting tomorrow and would give his thoughts on it, if you'd like to attend and gear about it. I'm hoping they get the statement up soon.

The CASAA group gave an excellent presentation regarding why it is so important for diversity in the market, how and why e-cigarettes work and that consumers should have a say in the process. The FDA panel listened attentively and asked questions indicating they were paying attention to the points being made. Other than also sharing excerpts from the CASAA presentation, that is pretty much what the statement about the meeting will cover.
