what kind of coil will work best at low voltage say 2.5 to 3 volts ? a .5ohm micro seems like it will work even a simple .6ohm 3wrap could work right ? anyone try this ?

the reason i ask is i have an abundant suply of cr123 batterys and want to use them up lol.

does a single cr123 have the power to drive a decent coil and give a good vape ?

your thinking is kind of flawed. although the voltage is lower in your example, there are other factors that are more important when going lower in resistance. a .5Ω at 3 volts pushes quite a lot of power, about 18watts. also what you need to know is the amps, your example is pushing 6 amps which is also quite a bit. compare these numbers to what a normal vv device can run, most every vv device out there will only push 15 watts and about 3 -5 amps. so just because the voltage is low doesn't really matter. when running the numbers from your example you need a quality hi- drain battery not cr 123's ( although I have heard of people doing it)
