For chargers, get a Nitecore i2 or i4 depending on how many battery bays you need. If you wanna go pricier, get an XTAR.

batteries, stick with the eFest flat tops for 18350 (if you can't find any AW IMR 18350s, just note these are button top, but still fit and work with the evic 18350 tubes).

Make sure you never put double 18350 batteries...as that will short out your unit.

And to use the small battery you need the short tube. Obviously your usable battery time will go down because of the smaller battery.

Personally the size of the evic doesn't bother me anymore. I now use the Panasonic green ICR 3400mah in mine to get through the day without charging.

I only use the 18350 tube when I know I'll only be out for about 12 hours, as the 800mAh battery gives me a good 6 hours of vaping time (I save my AW IMR 18350 700mAh batteries for my mech). If I'm going to be on campus all day until I go to work, I use the 3400mAh battery with the 18650 tube since that battery gives me well over two days of vaping time. While the smaller form factor is nice and easier to tote around, the size of either tube doesn't really bother me. If I know I can get away with using the smaller tube, I use the smaller tube.
