I like the evod and protank, except for the gurgling of course.

I thought the gurgling from my Protank was just because I had top wicked it straight from the box. Do they do that with a fresh coil too? I have several T3s and none of them gurgle. Vape is a bit cool but that is to be expected from a bottom wicked device I suppose. I am not sure how much they hold but I feel pretty confident leaving home with a freshly filled MT3 sitting on a fully charged 1000maH eGo Twist. That combo will last me all day

I like them all. I have more t3's than any other, but they are basically all the same. I think the problems come from juice. I have some juice that will eventually gurgle and even leak on all 3. The coil for the t3 is stupidly priced IMO and should be considered, I started wrapping my own for all of these. Very easy and I only buy new when I need a rubber part.

About that gurgle thing.

Assuming the head is screwed in tight, and the unit is does not have an air leak at the top of the tank, here are two ways to correct it.

For the occasional "gurgle", that is more apt to occur as the tank nears empty, take it off the mod and give it the ole thermometer shake to remove excess juice/condensation from the atty and or airway and out though the mouthpiece. A Q-Tip can also be pushed up the air way from the drip tip side if one is so inclined, but shake it out first.

If it is happening frequently, other than changing the head, just add some additional top wick. Doesn't have to be silica. Little bit of cotton on top of the stock wick will do.

Every time i fill a protank or evod i roll up a little piece of paper towel/tissue s i can shove it all the way into the mouthpiece. I do this until there is no liquid in the center post or mouthpiece. I find that if i dont do this i sometimes get gurgling, but if i do it, i never have an issue. Im very careful not to drip into the center post when filling, but it seems whenever i screw it back together, somehow some squeezes in.

Also never blow out through a protank or evod, this floods them instantly i swear. I made that mistake because id have to blow through my BCC Mega now and then or id get the dreaded dry hit, so it became habitual to blow into my clearo a little bit. Had to break that habit quick!

Hmm, my T3s gurgle worse than my evods or my protank. Even now that I managed to get the T3 to stop leaking, they are still more prone to gurgling. The ProTank never leaked one bit, it's a little noisey, but more of a whistling than gurgling so it's not so annoying. One of the evods was a little leaky to begin with but settled down nicely.
I would stick to the Evod and Protank, the replacement heads are cheaper than the T3s as well.

Thanks guys for the input, I usually just get the gurgle when the juic is running a bit low. Then it starts acting up. Or when there is a temp change. I don't mind it too much but when I'm out and about it's a bit irritating. I like that thermometer idea lol, it makes sense. I've blown it out as well. I got a bunch of q tips at the house so I'll try that as well.

I like the bottom coils better than the vivi novas because I don't have to dip and twirl but the novas never gurgled of course. Everything in vaping is a give and take nothing is perfect, as in life.

I'll probably add a t3 to mess around with in my next order. Hopefully the new version will be out by then. :)

Yeah it looks like kanger is going all in with the evod/protank head design. At least its reasonably priced for people wanting to have off the shelf replacement parts. Additionally they so far have been pretty interchangeable and I dont see that changing.....until the next advancement.

Ya it looks like the tube is the same just the base will change and you can use the new bases with old tubes... Eric over at discountvapers has said he already has an order in for them so sometime next month he should have them and we can see. He as also carried just the bases for the protank and evod as a separate order item, so you could just order a base and coils and convert over

My T3 gurgles very seldom. Maybe like 3-5 times over the course of a day. Starting to leak from the positive post o-ring as it came a little off center from the factory. The 808-ego adapter that I was using when I had my G6 messed it even more and now its seeping a tad
