Anybody try the T3S?? Better than the eVod?

Hey guys, I'm really getting fed up with my Protank and about to buy a couple different clearos to try, hoping for better results.. My Protank is giving me so many problems - coils only lasting a couple days, dry hits, and now my (2nd) one is somehow leaking from the top of the glass where it meets the metal mouthpiece, which is causing it to leak the entire tank out, so I can't even use it at all right now.

So I was going to buy an eVod or 2 since I heard how great they work, heard they're like the Protank except without the typical problems and it's smaller. But now I'm seeing the new T3S "Rebuildable" Clearo - which has separate coils that screw into the bottom piece just like the protank/eVod, but it's the size and shape of the normal T3.
.... I had a T3 a few months ago and it usually just leaked all over the place and gave me a plastic-like taste so I gave it away. I'm hoping if I get the T3S, I won't have the same leaking/taste problems?

So have any of you (preferably those of you have tried the T3S, T3, eVod, and Protank lol), tried the T3S and how did it perform? Should I just got with the eVod instead?? Gonna order another Protank too (my 3rd) and start rebuilding my own wicks

Thanks in advance! :p

Oh, and which coils do you guys like best for your T3S's and eVods??

It's weird, for my Protank I usually like the 2.5Ω coils as opposed to the 1.8Ωs - they give me bigger/thicker vapor clouds, better flavor/TH, and the coils seem to last slightly longer (but not long either way for my PT).. But for my T2's (which I'm still using because it's the only clearo that's consistent and doesn't give me dry hits/flooding/leaking problems, and coils last weeks on them) I like the 1.8Ω coil better, higher Ω coils seem to mute the flavor a bit.

First, you need to figure out what is going wrong or nothing is going to work out right.

Coils should last longer than a few days, unless you vape nonstop and never clean them.

I rinse my coils every tank full or two and dry burn every 4-5 tanks. I have wick/coils that are 11 months old.

ProTank leaking - food grade silicone to seal

Best performer - evod or T3s > EVOD, smaller but the plus is it vapes warmer. T3-mini also outshines T3 due to smaller size.

I own all the Kanger bcc's and have all in my daily rotation. They all have different characteristics. Evod is tighter and warmer than the others. T3 / T3S is a bit cooler draw and Protank an even cooler airy draw. I try to match juices that best suit each. Light thin juices in the Evod and thick heavy juices on the PT. T3 / T3S will take on all comers.

Tank gurgles, poor production, etc...take the shaft off and rinse with hot water. If the coil is gunked I use a small brush that came in a mens beard dye kit to get the heavy stuff off then dry burn in 2 second bursts until the wick is pure white and the coil glows orange evenly. My coils last a month doing this. Hope this helps :)

My protank just has started giving me problems today, it's showing 9.9 on ohms then will go to 2.3 ohms and back and fourth. It has been working perfect besides now, I don't know if it's the dark eliquid I'm vaping in there, very weird.

If youre getting the 9.9ohm reading youre not getting a connection on your 510 center post most likely. You may have to clean it or pry it up a bit with a tiny flathead

I would have to agree with this statement. I own all three and they all have different characteristics. I like my evods for lighter juice, T3S out performs my T3s and my Protank, while airy, is great with my heavier juices. While you're thinking of trying a different BCC clearo also think of another option that wasn't mentioned; buy an evod head or two and put them in your Protank and see if that helps the Protank performance. I did this with one of my Protanks and it gave me a tighter draw and still lots of vapor and flavor.

Thanks HiddenDragon, I was about set on getting the eVod since it seems to be the most 'different' from the Protank (tighter draw, warmer vape); from what you guys said the T3S seems to be in the middle of the PT and eVod in terms of how different they perform, with the eVod most different from the PT - if that makes sense.
.... But after hearing you say you like the T3S outperforms your PT, I'm thinking maybe I should get that instead of the eVod?? Ugh, I'm still stuck on what to get lol

And yes, I use my Protank with the eVod post. I would just use eVod coils on my PT but they leak horribly when I tried, so I just switch out the posts' from the coils.

eVod or T3S/MT3S?? Ahh!

My T3S has been great and hassle-free. Flavor and Vapor is great. ZERO gurgling. No burnt hits all the way until the very last drop. Flavor is on par with Evods.

Evods leak through the mouthpiece so you get juice in your mouth. My protank is too leaky for me to even consider using and its airy and metallicy.

T3S heads work great in EVOD and Protank, also T3 Mini.

I do think these kanger bottom coils provide maybe too much of a saturated vape, but I've used an eRoll most of my vaping life ^_^
