like the title says,

When i use a drip shield i feel like the flavor is muted and actually different. it tends to get gurgley fast.
i love the idea of a drips shield cause i hate the mess of dripping. its better on the provari then the SB (drip well)

I have the drip shield from cisco, i mainly use cisco 306 lr some times lr 510's

i guess where I'm getting at is, is there a better option. is there a way to use a drip shield with out the change in flavor, the gurgling/tighter draw i can live with.

i know empire has better looking shields, but do they perform better.

or how bout the DCA has that thing compared to a shield

any one else experiencing this???

All the drip shields perform pretty much the same, I've used the Avid Vaper ones and the Empire ones. I can't say I've noticed a change of flavor dripping with or without one, myself, I'm not sure what's causing that for you unless it's just a result of the change in volume of air flow on your draws. You could try widening the air holes at the top of the shield a little to loosen it up some, if that's indeed the reason you're noticing a difference in flavor then that should help. As for the gurgling, that's going to happen any time you drip enough that it leaks out of the atty and into the shield

The DCA functions pretty much the same as a drip shield, but the air flow is adjustable so you can tailor it to your liking
