You pull out the REO and it makes their eyes go all big and the next thing you hear is ........"is that what I think it is?" LOL, I just love it! Take that you whippersnapper!

Then I get to show off. Ha!

It was a new-to-me shop & I've been looking for a new drip tip so I thought I'd check it out & see if they had anything. All they had was the usual. Guess I'll be ordering online.

I just really got a kick out of the whole thing. Took the REO all apart and demonstrated, showed off my micro coil and told them how much I loved it. He even had to ask the other guy "look what she's got". I caused quite a stir.

bm: oh. i need to help some other customers...

B and M employees here customarily deal with people still smoking or very recently smoke free. Kind of blows them away when they meet a vaper with more experience and knowledge than them.

What do you expect, you're in Monaca. My hometown is Washington, PA. I haven't been there in over 1 1/2 years, but I doubt there is one there yet either.

One of our local vape shops, they realize that I am willing to spend good money for great equipment, so they fall all over themselves. I wanted to look at a DNA mod they had one day, and a new guy goes "oh, I'm sorry - we aren't allowed to take those out of the case". I'm like "really? How are you expected to sell it, if an interested customer can't even see it up close and personal?"

He shrugs, goes "they told me that they can't come out of the case". Another employee hears him and goes "are you kidding me? Do you see what she already has? You take that out for her right now!"

The other local shop, has no idea what REO's are, and forgot all their other customers as I gave them an up close and personal "tour" of the REO.

It is fun seeing other vaper's reactions, from those who know what REO's are, to those who have never seen one before, and are so intrigued!

Dang, I would wet myself if my local vape shop had anything close to a DNA (or authentic mechs and RDAs/RBAs) in the case! Lots of nice and authentic "regular" stuff and nice enough "advanced" clones.

But, yeah, it was pretty funny when a soccer-mom looking lady like myself walked in looking for a dripper and a mech clone. They weren't sure what to do with me (they like to "make sure" you're ready for mechs). As I was looking at the "advanced" case, I puffed on my Reo. 'Cause, ya know, I'm in a VAPE shop, I can vape it like I do at home.

Oh my, that attracted the "builder" sales guy REAL fast. They had never seen a Reo in the wild before, and definitely never seen someone that looked like their MOM that could built a bad AYuss coil (thanks for that term, Super_X, lol). The dudes hanging out in the lounge had to play show and tell with their coil builds. Ermmm, yeah, didn't want to say anything, but mine was the best. I think they knew that though, without my saying. I complimented everyone on their pretty, shiny mech tubes, and went on my way after they drained me for another $75, like they always do, lol.

I walked in with my grand last week... crickets. You could hear a pin drop. All stares.

Millennial Hipster Customer: "Why'd ya get one of those?"

Me: "They kick hard, son."

Shop Clerk: "STFUp [to the MHC]. Those things rock. I have one at home. I just don't bring it in here because we don't sell them. I have to put up with this lame [high end mech and RDA] until after work."

The tension broken, we all went back to regularly scheduled programming.

I may just do this without the mini. Too mean to tease about what can't be had.

A grand rocking a flat ohm and a mini 2.1 rocking 1.4 or so would show variety.

I gotta be careful, I may end up with a contract to sell my signature DIY

No it's not cool, trust me. In the one by me they pretty much ignore you if you have something as slick as a REO (read "that they don't sell) or your not buying anything.

What could a REO owner who rebuilds and vapes unflavored possibly wanna buy from a B&M?

Not a damn thing.

So the two times I went I was completely ignored basically. They are prolly trained to not make a big deal about killer devices like a REO because their marks would gain interest and realize that there is a whole world of vaping outside of the B&M
