Hello Everyone
I have been analog free 6 &1/2 mos, my pv s has been the 801 pen, Ego T, Joye 510 T ,
I have currantly a Leo..My problem is when the attys on these units take a dump, it's very devastating pocketbook wise, I'm tired now, I have tried cleaning them like I've seen suggested on u-tube and things I've read on here, it don't work for me..I've had issues with the 510T, the tank cap come off inside atty while pulling the tank out for refill. I'm tired of putting money out for attys, I'm a low profile vap, I don't like the big mods that I see almost everyone have..I want to try a kr808d1, I like the slim battery,
I even have 3 joye 280 mAh manuals..Please help, cartomizers are looking really good, I've been reviewing V4L alot, is mauals better or auto batts? preflavored cartomizers or blank?...

Hi OMGlis50,

I can wholeheartedly recommend The Elite:

THE ELITE 808

I've been using it, along with CigEasy's Go-go, and they both are fiddle-free vaping at its finest.

Here are some review's that you'll find interesting:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cigeasy/214412-my-own-review-elite-808-kit.html

and from DonDaBoomVape:

The Elite 808 from CigEasy:A GREAT cigarillo-like PV! | Vaping Guides to the Electronic Cigarette

and PBsardo's review:

Taste Your Juice | Cig Easy Elite 808

They said it better than I could. All I can say is ... get it ... you'll be happy.

Thank-You Bobalex, I will look into it...I notice you speak of the Leo, as I mentioned I have the 2 leos I do like it, and I will keep it, I just want away from atomizers now, my experience with most have not been good, I need to try something else so all I do when it is spent is drop it in the trash no more thought about it instead of crying...Thank You for your suggestion...

I don't use an atomizer on my Leo. I have used the 4ml cartomizers but I recently bought some of the dual coil low-resistance cartomizers. Very pleased with those. PBsardo did a review on these:

Taste Your Juice | Leo Dual Coil LR Cartomizer

I got a Leo kit about a year ago consisting of the battery, an atomizer, 5 carts, and 5 cartomizers. I'd never used an atomizer with a cart or dripped so I was excited to finally try out those methods of vaping.

Not Impressed.

The Leo cartomizers on the other hand worked really well. But ...

We were moving to Canada and I didn't know what kind of e-cig supplies I'd find. As much as I liked the Leo I couldn't see buying more Leo cartos when The Elite and Go-go cartomizers performed as well or better. A couple of weeks ago an Elite/Go-go vaping friend raved about the Leo dual coil low-resistance cartomizers, I saw PBsardo's review, and I hauled out the credit card and ordered some.

Very nice indeed. I've been vaping the Leo with the new cartos for 4 days now. I'm interested in seeing how long these cartos last. If I can get a week and a half out of one ... I'll be happy. If not ... I'll pick up some every once in awhile as a treat.

But you wrote about trying a KR808 PV which is why I suggested The Elite. If I woke up one morning and found all my PV's had mysteriously vanished except for The Elite ... I'd still be a very happy vaper.

Bobalex,
Yes, I'am very interested in going to kr808s, my leo is ok and I will put away, but keep it for just those little emergencys us vaporer come across sometimes..I'm trying to get ideas on some of the models (batts, cartomizers) etc from all the long term KR 808 users, once I find the one, thats it, I won't look back to atomizers anymore... : ) Thanks

I'm a big fan of the Elite as well. I'm also a big fan of the iGo, which has 808 threads with an 1100 mah battery. My only complaints about the Elite are not enough battery life, and burned taste right off the charger. So far I haven't experienced any burned taste with the iGo, but I've only had it 5 days. I'm not crazy about the iGo cartos, so I ordered more Elite cartos to put on my iGo.

I say find a battery that you like (KR8 or 510) then give clearomizers a try.
I like the CE2 Ultimate XL's; the wife and son like the CE4+ (stardust types).

Atomizers are a pain and I only use them for testing new juices.
Cartomizers give me dry hits from time to time and you can't tell if it's low or out of juice.
I however use a carto with my mom&pops tanks and they work well.

My wife & son had the new V4L Titan batts and they could drain one in a short time (2.5 hrs max) and the other still wasn't finished charging (3-5hrs charge time).
I got them both the KGO kit from Hoosier's and they couldn't be happier.

Good luck with your hunt :)

KR808D batts fire at 3.7 volts, and fresh off the charger they actually weigh in at around 4.2 volts, though that drops off quick and settles in at 3.7 volts. If your carto is low on liquid then a fresh battery may give you a burnt taste ... I always top up my carto as part of the process of switching batteries so its nice and wet for the first few draws. The Volt has good reviews on this forum, as does their horizontal coil cartos. Genuine Kanger stuff is good as well, they invented the KR808d format, as well as the cartomizer I believe. I use genuine Kanger SR Horizontal coil carto's and I like them. Be advised that LR cartos are not recommended for slim batts as they draw too much power ... the Boge 2.0's fall into the LR category.

Definitely get empty cartos and fill them yourself ... opinions vary as to how long you can keep using them with top ups, and depends somewhat on the characteristics of the e-liquid you use. Sounds like you aren't interested in trying to clean them .. me either. :)

Hi, ctourtelot, just wanted to let you know, I deceided on a Volt, it should arrive to me Monday...

I think you'll like it. I have several different models and picked up a volt to see what all the fuss was about. It really impressed me as I'd moved away from slim ecigs a long time ago due to low performance. Despite all my hardware, I find myself reaching for my Volt more often now.

Hi all,
I wanted to say Thank You for all you suggestions in the aid of my search... I went with a Volt, it arrived yesterday, out of the box I'm very impressed..As I vaped on my new pv yesterday, with my favorite juice in those cartos, I thought where have I been, lol, as I took a long enjoyable inhale and exhaled, tasting every bit of my honey cured tobacco, the moment was wonderful... Attys are now the thing of the past for me,anyone asks me now, attys ? what attys ?, not me,lol...Thanks again : ) Lisa
