Congrats! Keep it up. What nic level are you using now? Or are you nic free?

I haven't posted in a long time but I'm here to say that I remain smoke free! It'll be 8 months come Sept 8th! So thanks to all who gave me good advice. I started with 18mg nic but am at 12 mg now and find it just as satisfying. I've graduated and now am using eleaf I sticks 30W variable and a mini nautilus. Like how it feels in my hand.

A Big thanks to ECF and the Family here I am one year smoke free and I feel great.
Could not have done it with out you folks here. So give your self a big pat on the back.
Congrats on a year without analogs. Now that wasn't that hard was it? Looking back to the day you smoked the last cigarette I'll bet you thought it would be so much harder than it turned out. I'm betting you never want another analog ever again at this point, congrats again......

Congratulations! One year of not smoking is going to vastly improve your life.

I was around a pack a day smoker, smoking for around 6 to 8yrs of my life, and took up vaping Sept 7th, 2015.

I have some heart health related issues and decided 2015 was going to be the beginning of doing something for my heart and lungs. I was born with a bicuspid heart valve and did not find out until '86, on my ship date for the Marine Corps. They did not take me b/c of the valve. This year, on a whim I went to a different Dr b/c I had coverage and the Drs were located in my neighborhood and they decided to give me an echo Doppler and treadmill test. When they saw the echo Doppler they initially did not want to give me the treadmill test...then they proscribed a beta blocker Carvedilol to modify my heart function, and gave me the test, which I passed. Turns out they found out I have aortic stenosis, which is calcification of the valve, and senile stenosis, which is something many people get, only after reaching the age of 70+. I'm just 55, so I had to make the move, so that over the Winter I could put a dent in my healthcare.

I immediately bought back my Serotta road racing bicycle from my brother, new Kreitler rollers, and associated equipment. Then as I said, I quit smoking. Here's to your next full year of vaping, and I hope we both rack up the years. I'll take as many as I can get.
