I've got a bunch of Boge 510 cartomizers and am tiring of the short battery life from standard 510 batts. I'm wondering which of the following would work with my 510 cartomizers.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

If i'm reading this right the Riva 510 will accept my Boge 510's.

Both will work with the Boge cartos. They're essentially the same thing, but from what I understand the Riva has just a touch more voltage at 3.7 vs the Ego's 3.4 (I think that's right?).

I have the 1100 Riva as a backup to my vv box mod, and it's a nice little device.

Both will work with your cartos. But a better option to consider, in the same category is the E-Power. Much longer lasting batteries that only cost around $4 instead of $20 for the eGo/Riva. And the batteries are non-proprietary which is a big plus:

Good choice, I got 2 kits when I started so I'd have back-ups. And yeah, the "510" is the threading, mostly all interchangable.
Just remember not to mix the chargers, and if you get the "LR" Boges" they won't be good on the smaller 510.

I have both a RIVA 650 and 1100 mah - and I love them both. The 1100 is about an inch longer. I bought the 650 first and use it exclusively for dripping (sampling juices and just a switch up now and then away from daily vape) and I liked it so much I got the 1100. Now playing around with what 510 cartos I want to run with for it. Have some fluxomizers and new vortex's on the way and I'm now stalking the mailman.

Between the Riva and Ego - they look so similar - but the RIVA doesn't have that weird mouthpiece the Ego does (of course I got some cool drip tips for my RIVA)...but that's just my opinion only!

The Rivas at Liberty-Flights are the new model and are higher voltage than Ego so they vape warmer. Their Riva 510's are 3.7v and Ego is around 3.3v.

And Boge cartos are the faves on 510 threaded devices. I use the standard resistance ones because I share them with my slim manual 510's and only ecigs 450mah+ should use LR low resistance stuff. but on Ego and Riva 510 many like the Boge 2.0 ohm ones which run hotter but use battery charge faster.

I have the Riva 510 Lite Bundle and if you want to use the cone over Boge cartos, pick up a Riva 901 cone on the same site - the 901 cone will fit the Riva 510 and is a shorter cone so plenty of Boge carto sticks out to vape. I got one but I don't bother with the cone. The cone may increase the heat of your vape a bit.

Seems like a logical choice, WV, batts are about $5 now, still cheap. I may try this after my Rivas die. How durable are the rest of the batt assembly, the switch and cap, housing paint? If I had to replace switch, it's $12.

Also from my understanding (and i am not exactly sure) but i have been told that the Riva's have more regulated voltage so they will shut off before the voltage gets so low where the EGO will continue to vape until it gets so low that it really will not do anything. I love my Riva and so do my coworkers!

Also the e-power that someone linked to seems to require 2.0 ohm Cartomizers, my standard Boge 510's are going to work with that?

I've been using my E-Power with everything from the IKV 1.6Ohm carto to the 2.6-2.8Ohm CE2's and they all work great. From what I can tell the workable range with an E-Power is from roughly 1.5Ohm to 3Ohm or so. You really just want to stay away from the high voltage stuff. Anything else should work great!

I will say my Riva 510 from Liberty-Flights.com (the current newer model) seems to hold the voltage up better than my 3.7v mod box (using Ultrafire 14500 protected battery). I am very happy with the Riva.

Really? Which Riva 510 kits were you looking at? I see they're out of the carto kit but they've still got the special edition in steel and the lite bundle in lots of finishes. It's hard to beat the $30 (after discount) price on that kit. We bought those kits a few weeks ago and have been very happy with them. We don't use the carts or attys that came with them much since we prefer our Boge LR cartos with them. But still, the attys and carts haven't been a complete waste since we use them for testing new flavors before deciding if they're worthy of devoting a carto to them.

I don't know where you got that idea. The E-Power can use any ohm carto/atty. You just have a better battery than the eGo for sure and at least as good as the Riva at a fourth of the cost.
