to order my i pro! One of my ego batts was acting weird last night. Quoting myself, from the ego forum:

I was hoping someone may have answers for what is going on with one of my batts...Last night one of my batteries started firing on it's own. I would activate, vape, let go, then a second or two later it would activate again. I would push the button and it would quit. I watched it a few times and would let go of the button, hold it in my sight, and see it activate again with absolutely no touching of the button. Of course my first thought was a sticky button from juice.The batt died shortly after this started, so I went ahead and recharged it, planning to use it strictly as a backup while my other batt was charging until I can get a replacement. But since I recharged it, it has been working fine. Not a single self-firing since I took it off the charger.Does this scenario sound familiar to anyone? Can anyone tell me if my batt is safe? Do I need to call a priest for an exorcism? Do I finally have the excuse I have been searching for to by the mod I've been drooling over for a month?

So even though the batt is acting fine now, I am a little (more than a little) nervous about using it. May be placing my order when I get my check in the bank. And I still can't decide on a color!

Question for Buzzkill- is the clear/silver as sparkly and shiny as it looks in the pic?

Also, since you are a battery expert, do you have any ideas as to what could be going on with my current batt?

They clear is pretty sparkly IMO , sounds like it got juice in it OR the switch is going bad , they are cheap batts , LOOSE IT not worth the risk IMO .

The juice was my first thought too, but since the issue is not repeating after charging I am really leaning toward going bad. Or my original theory- possessed.

OK, look for my order as soon as I can decide on a color!

Congrats Tidegirl!! For what it's worth, I had an eGo batt do the very same thing, then it quit all together. It just fired on it's own and stayed on until it burned out, right in front of my eyes.

Can't wait to see your color choice!!

I used to use eGo batteries too. Once your Infinity Pro arrives you will be saying to yourself "Why Didn't I upgrade earlier, I Didn't need an excuse to experience THIS!"

I've also had the button go bad on an ego batt. Doubt if they're rated at anything near the 1,000,000 click Notcigs buttons!

Wow. The batt worked fine last night and this morning, and tonight it started auto firing again. I guess its doing it only when the charge is low. Very strange. I have the one good one, and I guess I will be keeping the bad one fully charged and using only while the good one is charging. I hope y'all aren't too backed up.

When I ordered my first Buzz I got a call from either Terri or Lori, I can't remember which, less than an hour after I placed the order. I got the shipping notification in a couple hours and had the mod in my hot little hands two days later.
Yep. They can be pretty speedy over there at the NotCigs compound.

There was no postal service on Monday, it may be waiting to hit the truck this afternoon.

I'm happy I had an IPro through my Buzz Pro dilemma. It saved my from the horrors of going fixed voltage again. You'll be very pleased with it. Notcig PVs are the best.

Yeah I'm sure I will end up getting a second one eventually. No shipment yet. That's no big deal though. I didn't expect it to be so soon, I just got my hopes up with the awaiting shipment status.
