Ok, so somehow I've managed to burn through TWO atomizers in less than a week. I've been reading about how people are getting around 4+ weeks out of their attys. So what am I doing wrong? I've got a JOYE eGo and it came stock with a couple 510 atomizers. I've noticed that I do tend to vape on the hot side (which I've read is a quick way to kill an atty). But I figured there are still some things I can learn. I'm really hoping this new habit will save me money (I used to smoke about a pack of analogs a day...btw, my handle is in reference to music...not cigs, hehe). So, any recommendations as to what I should do each day, etc...where to buy atomizers in the future. Thankfully I ordered a pack of blank cartos that I'm filling currently. Thanks for any help.

I've had atomizers last me one day and some that still work after a year of use. Obviously the old ones aren't like brand new atty's, but they still function.
Some people claim that darker liquids kill atomizers faster. I say claim because I haven't experienced this personally, but there may be some truth behind certain liquids being harder on the atty than others. Your problem is probably just bad luck. Try ordering them from a different vendor, and make sure you keep them nice and wet.

Well, it looks as though you fixed the problem yourself. I use atmoizers for testing new juices nothing more. I think you'll find that using the cartos will be a much better experience for you. A Great Way To Fill Cartomizers - YouTube

Some juices have more sediment than other juices and I'm wondering if that might be your problem. Just a guess. I only use attys for testing juices and that very rarely, so all mine are about 6 months old.
Why buy atomizers for dripping when you can just mod a cartomizer for direct dripping. Way cheaper and just as effcetive. This applies to 510 cartos as well as KR8 cartos -

Awesome, thanks guys! I think I may stick with the carto method. I like the idea of atty's as they SEEM to be a more economical solution, but my luck hasn't proved that. Plus, being new to vaping, I'm finding I do it A LOT...far more than I smoked....it's just too convenient.
Any recommendations on cartos? I'm using BUD cartos from PureSmoker. I got some vanilla juice from them as well. this weekend I picked up Tennessee Cured from Johnson Creek which I really like...possibly gonna be my main juice. Besides having a dud carto these seem to be holding up alright. Is it safe to say you can probably get 2-3 days out of each one? At the end of the day, is there a "best way" to store them? Thanks again.

As for cartos, I prefere the standard Boges. Of all I have tried, they taste the best (although not as good as dripping on an atty). Depending on the juice, I usually get a week out of them before I notice a really bad drop off in flavor/vapor.

Stick with the cartos! Best solution to your problem. Just add some drops when you notice a lack in flavor and/or the filler is dry on top. Since you have an eGo, I would suggest Boge LR carto's. Let us know how it all works out!
If you get your atomizers from BestEcig and I also believe it's true with Heaven Gifts, they provide a 6 month warranty. I've never had to return the ones that died, either.
