Got my Volt from Smokeless Image yesterday, threw on the Cowboy carto, and it's still going  LOL Though i haven't had an analog cig since i attached the carto to the battery yesterday around 115pm, so i'm about to reach 24hrs with no cigarette (score!). And I can't hit it more than 5-6 times within say 10 minutes due to the TH, which i think is due to a higher nic level than i need, but longest i've gone without hitting it was 30min. I was a pack a day smoker, and i pretty much had this ecig in my hand all day/night yday. I let my wife hit it a few times, let a friend at a cookout last night try it out (kept asking for more, SI needs a referral program btw). I never even had to charge the battery the entire time, it was still vaping/tasting strong at 2am this morning when i hit the bed and threw it on the charger anyways. Now i'm just trying to finish up the carto so i can move onto another flavor LOL I read about avg pack/day smokers go through 3-5 cartos a day, the battery would only last a couple hrs, etc, so i've gotta be doing something wrong (in a money saving way i guess  ). I'm sure it's fine to just swap the cartridge out half-spent and try the others, but i'm OCD and don't want half or quarter used carto's laying around, just waiting to die out when i really need them most.

I've got some more juice coming soon (stalking the postman this week), and i have 5 blank carto's from SI also. Can anyone recommend some cartos that perform as well as SI's but are actually colored? All SI has is black or silver.

How long are the hits you're taking with your Volt? I've never actually killed a Volt battery because I'm pretty paranoid about being battery-less at any point during the day, but I'm pretty sure I've never gone more than 4 hours without throwing it on the charger. As for the cartos, you can buy wraps for the ones SI sells, Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette Battery Wrap although that seems like an unnecessary expense. Most companies I've seen for the various types of cartos only have stainless steel and stainless steel with a black wrapper.

Edit: Where in SC do you live?

Some hits i pull a long smooth draw on to get some heat and taste the flavor, so about 6 secs. Typically about 4 secs i guess for a regular hit. I saw the wraps on their site, but like you said, seems an unnecessary expense. I was originally going with a V2 starter kit, and they sell their prefilled cartos color coded. I thought it'd be nice to have some blank carto's color coded too, but they're blanks aren't that way. I've read some people complain that certain vendors carto's don't perform as well as others, so even if i do find some company selling colors, i'm not sure if they're worth buying from or not.

Oh, and i live in Greenwood, about an hour and a half i think from Clemson? I haven't been in that area for a couple years, so i can't remember how long the drive. I am a Clemson fan though, wife's a USuC fan, house divided LOL

Greetings from Canada! Congratulations on 'smoke free' !

Once I got my 'real deal' with my own juice I haven't wanted a cig. I love being able to regulate how much nic I get and it certainly is nice to be able to smash any withdrawal. No withdrawal, I'm probably getting more than I used to. I started at 24mg and eventually started getting heart-burn when I was getting too much. I dropped back to 12mg without noticing much difference and use 24mg if I feel I need more.

Enjoy!

Hey takirb and welcome!!!!

When I first started vaping 3 years ago I had a cigerette style e-cig and when you first get it you will puff on it alot becasue its cool and new, plus everyoneyou know who smokes wants to try it, I think thats why you are only getting 2 hours out of a battery. About the colored Cartos, one thing I might suggest is different colored drip tips if the wraps arent what you want. Plus it sounds like your going to be filling your own cartos and is a lot easier to just pop the drip tip of when refilling. Just in case, you would want 510/901 drip tips for those cartos if I'm not mistaken.
