Congrats! Glad to hear it started working.

To answer your earlier question, how long does it take to charge?

I have the 650mah version of the twist and it came with a "factory 70% charge" and had it plugged in for about 1hr before the light turned green on me. I've been using and charging it inbetween usages and have noticed I need it plugged in for about 2hrs when it's really drained. I have yet to fully deplete the battery. Sorry, I don't have an exact answer for you but I thought I'd just give you my two cents.

slightly smaller(yet pretty big IMO) problem has come up.

I need it tightened, and then unscrewed for maybe an eighth of a turn to vape, but I also have the problem that upon screwing and unscrewing, some juice leaks out.

any ideas on how to combat this problem? I'd rather not have any potential leakage when having it in my pocket.

Is it just a little dab of clear wetness on the battery when you take it off(Ive found vapor condensation to be a bit "slimy" like the juice)? Or is it juice colored wetness dripping out of the connection even though the carto is still connected?

I haven't had any trouble at all with those leaking. I've heard of it happening but it's pretty rare. If your's is leaking you can suck the juice back out with the syringe and put it in another one.

The CE3 bottom coil works off air pressure in the tube. I've noticed if you squeeze it at the bottom sometimes you can make it leak just a little. I always hold mine near the top when I screw them in. It still might just be a bad one. Try another one?

I got a nova clearomizer as well. so I'm gonna see how things go with this guy instead. just waiting for it to "set for 1-2 minutes"

and is there a way to clean the CE3 cartomizer? should I just flush it with syringes of water?

alright, so I finally had time to put some juice in another CE3 cartomizer and it works flawlessly! no having to do a quarter turn, no leaks(as far as I know), and I'm loving it!

boy this thing is convenient. but I do feel a bit uncomfortable just walking out of a room, and just inhaling on the thing... maybe I'll get used to it in time.

This won't solve you problem but just FYI the pass thru feature is for vaping when you're at your PC so you really won't drain your battery much ( depending on vaping habits ). For all intents and purposes it's just a trickle charger, if you had 2 drained batteries and put one on wall charge, the other on USB charge the wall would work 4 - 6 times quicker. It's like having your camper battery hooked up to a small solar panel when camping, saves battery life to a point. A small solar panel won't keep up to a camper fan for instance. Don't exclusively charge your twist with the USB, just plug in if you're at the computer.

My ego's all charge faster on my computer than they do on the wall. Dont know why but it takes like 45 mins on the usb and hours on the wall.

Haha Johny
I'll bet you've got a really hot new computer. Maybe 3.0 USB ports?

-sent from my abacus using assembly language.

Cleromizers are more than a "few bad ones". Expect to get bad QC Chinese crap all the time. I've had to throw out a whole box of Ce3s. Bottom coils are great when they work but you will pile money into them over time with duds and crap.

When you settle into vaping you may want to buy a Vivi Nova 2.5 or a vivi mini as they are awesome on Ego Twists. They mute your juice flavors more than the bottom coils but are 100% leak proof with replaceable heads. If you wash the heads that last a week or 2 and you can make your own heads. Search for them here and on youtube and check them out. Buy one and try it out... If you get into the Vivis you'll save piles of money on bottom coil fees/week. I vaped for 2 weeks by washing the heads meaning 0$/2 weeks. Now, for $22 in kanthal wire and cotton I have enough to make my owns heads for years. Check out the vivi (2.5 not 2.0s) and the vivi minis for the future. Will save you a fortune and no hypo refill crap either.

Gotvapes has cool collars for them too!

I've used the same 2 2.5s and minis for months and now that I make my own coil/wick I spend $0/week. If you want to replace the heads they are $3 each. So for the price of 1 box of bottom coils you can get a better long term solution. NO LEAKS! :)
