I've just gotten a VV box mod and I'm loving it. The batteries ,14500(s), died so I stuck them on the charger which is 1200mA and The red light, which indicates that the batteries are charging, turned green in maybe 15-30 minutes. So I think, "this can't be possible..." I put it into my device and they seem charged but weak. Again the light is green in 5 minutes. Does it just charge that fast? should I leave it on while they're green? (my intuition is no).

I've ego chargers go green too early and that usually meant the battery was screwed on a little tight. I turn it left until it turns green and then stop as soon as it is red. Since there are no threads on this mod I have no clue

What type of charger are you using? I have just bought an xtar w2 charger because the cheapo one that came with my lavatube kit sucked. I can leave my batteries charging all night with no problems now as they are constantly monitored by the charger. Would take 12 hours or more of trickle charge to cause a failure of the cells. My guess is your charger has had it. Should have mentioned my 18650's charge in under 2 hours from flat. 30 minutes is a bit quick IMHO.

Save your $$$ and buy a Trustfire Charger.

I have 4 of these and I have never had a problem with any mod battery I have ever charged. As you can see via my avater, I have a ton of batteries to charge at any given time.

Don't waste your money chargers with fancy names, that basically do the same thing. The only way id spend more money on a charger is if it holds are batteries.

The charger is brand new. Are the mA's too high for this battery?
