Technically Altsmoke doesn't advise using 2 3v batteries in the BB, but if you were to do so, use a HV 510 Atty. The reg 510 atties will trip the PCB.

Or use an adapter that Altsmoke sells on their website.

Again, using 2 3v Batts is NOT Recommended.
WOW your doing good, you went from asking any question under the sun twice 2 weeks ago to answering them.

OK where are you guys buying them, I'm useing an 801 now, I want it shorter and the 801's leak too much me.

Are you using 801s at 6v now? Do you like it? They're just over 3 ohms right? Anything against 901s? Reason I ask is this:

- I'm using 901s. They're about the same size as the 510
- They don't seem to really leak at all. They have the air hole in the side of the barrel up a little ways up from the threads where the 510 draws through the threads.
- The regular 901s are 3.0 ohms. Because they're "regular" 901s they are readily available from just about anywhere. HV atomizers are typically not so available and typically cost more. They are not any more durable or long lived than regular atomizers.
- The adapter for a 901 is the same adapter for the KR808D cartos.

Where to buy 901s (and the adapter)? Right here of course :)

Alt smoke adapter & 901's. Is the 801 adapter as tall as the 901?

801s are just huge. I have one at home but I think they could be almost twice the length of a 510? and they're bigger around. They're way longer than a 610 or KR808D.

The 510s have a male thread so they screw into the (recessed) connector. 610s have a female thread so they screw onto the (protuding) connector/adapter. a 610/KR808D adapter adds about 1/4" length.

Measured from the top of the BB/SB (includes the adapter for the 610/KR808D)
510 barrel - ~1.125" L with cartridge ~2.25"
610 barrel - ~2" L with cartridge ~2.875"
KR808D - ~2" L

The 801 adapter is about 3/8"?

Ive never used my BB at 6v.How is it?

Well... wonderful. It would be like any other pv at 6v I guess :). Those green protected CR2s go for 3 or 4 hours. I still don't know if the hotspring would give you problems (lol, sometimes older is better ;)).

Have you tried LR atomizers with the hot spring yet? That's very equivalent to the 5v experience. 6v is not necessarily better than that. Some juices don't go so well, there is a bit more to keep in mind and fiddle with. Stuff like less margin for things going dry, keeping your batteries paired up, etc. On the other hand they don't have LR cartomizers yet that I know of.

This is a just a disclaimer. For example: I have had my Silver Bullet for a long time and use 2 cr123 batteries, however the website says "

" What Batteries do I use?
This unit was made to hold ONE Protected 18650 2400mAh Battery and this is the only battery that we recommend. ".

I think this disclaimer may be the same for the BB. I cant wait to get the BB with the CR2 batts!
