I have 3 kfun3.1 clones well really 1 rocket and 2 ephro 3.1s. I have 1.2 ohm coils in each. I read a lot on this forum and can remember a lot of folks saying they change the cotton after a couple days.
I have been using the cotton in my rocket for a whole month with no noticeable flavor change or change in juice color. In this device I have 12mg. Space Jam Omega. Mec Mod is a Nemi Clone using 18650.
first kfun-- same resistance coil same mec mod. juice is Space Jam 12mg. Andromeda.
second kfun-- same res coil same Mec mod. Juice is drakes juice Milk and Honey.
For the past 25 days I have been swapping using toppers daily so every 3 days cycle starts over Racket, kfun1, kfun2. And so on.

Am I just lucky?
I 'm not to lazy to change the cotton. I just haven't tasted the need. I have looked at the cotton and see no discoloration or deteration.
This is real puzzling to me because I am constantly vaping. Never had a topper that was vertually maintenance free.
I would appreciate input or advice. And If this is dangerous too do .

I wonder if the flavor and performance have just tapered off slowly enough for you not to 'notice'? The longest I've kept the sme cotton in any of my Kayfuns has been prob a week - MAYBE 8-9 days. Have you visually inspected it? There's GOT to be gunk and buildup on the coil by now if nothing else. Maybe a dry burn and new piece of cotton would change things more than you expect?

I use space jam Astro, and find it to be a relatively clean vaping juice (doesn't gunk the coils too much). A month would be pushing it even with a clean juice though, IMO.

You did say you are rotating them out, so 1/3 of 25 days is uh... Math... Just over 8 days. Not an unreasonable amount of time to expect a wick to last. I usually change the wick in my Kayfun after 4-7 days, depending on the flavor and how lazy I'm feeling. You say there is no noticeable discoloration, which seems unusual to me. Even with a low-gunking juice you'd expect some caramelization on the coil after a few days use.

I'm surprised the tank with the Omega hasn't started tasting funky.

Space Jam Omega is one of my personal favs, but it's a terrible coil gunker. Flavor is so fantastic, it's worth the extra re-wicking.

You might be surprised at the flavor you've lost, if you took that one apart, cleaned and re-wicked.

I am tota amazed at these kfun thingy's. The vender I bought the kfuns from gave me the omega and milk and honey, great tasting juice I
Agree and worth the price but to be honest I can't afford it.
I may have to figure out how to though cause this is the best vaping I have done in 3.5 years.

Thank you so much for posting this question. I think I learned that I need to change my cotton wick more often. :D I give my reo a spa treatment cleaning every other Sunday now so that is when I give her a new wick. It is so easy to do I don't know why I haven't been doing it more often. It hasn't had a funny taste to me so I just keep on vaping. Good luck to you. :)

You all make a lot of sense and have been very helpful. I went ahead and pulled the cotton out of each of my devices, just looking in the chimney had me fooled, it was actually quite gunky down inside each one. As ya'll said I would discover the flavored changed.
Lesson learned.
Being used to using bottom coils such as evods and t3s type devices I should have known.
I will not make the mistake of not changing regularly again. The dividend will be noticed I'm sure. Especially if I have to return to those darker juices I have been using. I just had myself fooled.
Thanks for all the responses.
