most Subtank leaks are because of bad seals or rings...and that's what I was commenting on, his Subtank

Maybe so. But my research here on airflow hole leaks and testing I've done on mine points to the vertical coil saturation as being a source as well.

You'll also notice that I didn't say that it definitely was the seals, just that he would most likely save money by just buying some new seals. It's a lot smarter to spend a dollar on seals, than to spend $25+ on a new tank.
