I have tried to attach a picture but I am not sure if it worked or not. I got replacement heads from my vendor that aren't like the previous ones I had gotten from them. The new ones don't have as many threads where it screws in, therefore it doesn't make a connection on the bottom. Not only that but it's a good 2mm taller than the previous head, which makes it near impossible to screw on my mouthpiece. I tried just putting a wick in the old one, but i have no idea where the little coil is supposed to touch. :(
Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what can I do? I need some TH like last night. lol

the head on the bottom is the old one, and the one on top is the new one

Looks like a head on a top coil clearomizer without a coil and a wick, but that's a guess since you haven't said what your device is. That would be helpful. While many clearomizers are knockoffs of knockoffs, there are incompatibility issues, and we hear about them frequently. Let us know what you're using and where you got it, and, for sure, someone will be able to address the problem you're having. Welcome and a good question btw.

Look at the bottom of the head. There is a pin in the center and a grommet around that pin this should pull right out, the grommet should also pull right out. One leg of the coil needs to be on the inside of the grommet touching that pin to make the positive connection. The other leg needs to be on the outside of that grommet so that it touches the rest of the head making the negative connection. Usually when putting a coil in the head during a rebuild you leave the legs on the coil a little long so that you can pull them through easier and trim them when you finish. Swapping the coils and wicks over is gona be tricky at best with legs that are already trimmed, since you don't have any part of the coil to hold onto when replacing the grommet and it tends to get pushed up into the head.

If you felt comfortable coming this far you might think about getting some resistance wire and silica and try your hand at a full rebuild.
