I Need Computer Advise, Please

I can't remember my master password on my old computer so Xmarks won't let me synchronize bookmarks or anything between computers. I created that password years ago and forgot it years ago. It's been a PITA because there's no way to change anything password protected without it.

In Firefox, click Bookmarks in the menu bar, then Organize Bookmarks, then Import & Backup, then Backup. This will create a .json file with all your bookmarks. Move that over to the new computer and import it from the same Import & Backup menu.

I use Sugar Sync to transfer things between my desktop and laptop. You can choose what to "share" and can even have some of it stored at their site. (and if you have an ipod/iphone) you can sync that too.

I mainly use it to access the stuff on my desktop. I have so much stored on it (and since this thing is an older model, not as much room) but can't sit at the computer desk

I may use the 30 day free trial of SugarSync for my other files. Thanks bug.

I wonder why it's 30 days trial. I don't remember paying anything, though I DID get the Ipod app first. Maybe I paid for that one, and it included the others
