I'm still waiting for my first e cig to come in the mail. A Joye ego. I chose it based on battery life thinking it is my best bet towards never smoking again.

I've told my daughter about it and e cigs in general and she wants to get one. Her thing tho is that it should be in cigarette shape and have a glowing tip. I want to buy her one and I'm wondering what the best one would be for her.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Newcomers often want that sort of cigarette clone solution, and there is nothing wrong in that - it's perfectly natural. They might stick with it, but most change to another model, usually with longer battery life. When people start with an e-cig, it seems important to them to have a small one that looks and feels like a cigarette, with a red tip and no manual switch. After a few months they find themselves realizing those are the main things to avoid.

So it seems a good idea to suggest a 510. This can be bought in full clone mode: with a white body, an auto switched battery (drag on it and it fires up), and a red tip. In a month or so, get her a manual battery, in black, with a blue tip. Then after another month, an eGo / Tornado / Riva battery.

It's sort of conversion therapy :)

The 510 parts will all fit the the eGo large-format type, the parts are mostly interchangeable if you stick to the 510 system.

Make sure to get several different types of refill liquid, this is really the key to it, probably more so than the hardware model. The right liquid for someone in the wrong ecig will work, but the wrong liquid in the right ecig won't. People's taste varies so widely that it's very hard indeed to choose something for somebody else - just give them a variety to try.

After 6 months you'll find the right liquid and the right ecig. If you get there faster - be grateful. :)
