You too??? :w00t: I think I have been to every web site and know all of them by heart!!! And I think I have ordered from most of them too! I just can't stop it is WAY to easy!! And it is like Christmas!! ;)
I've got so many orders comming now that I can't remember what I'm getting or who I ordered from!8-o Told myself I wouldn't order anything while I'm at work. Just browse and if I really wanted it then buy it when I got home. Well forget that now, I just made two more a few minutes ago!:p My excuse now is, well I'll be going on vacation starting tomorrow so I'll be home when the mail gets here instead of having my neighbor look out for it!!:D

Even though I smoked menthol cigarettes, I don't like menthol vaping! Go figure!!!
I did try Totally Wicked and that wasn't too bad, but they are pricey! My freedom smokes has good liquid and the tastes are usually right on, but I haven't tried theirs. Maybe someone who likes the menthol can help steer you to a good place to get some! ;)

I still wanted an analog after i got my ecig, but I did not need one, the ecig totally satisfied my cravings, I did have one the first day I got my ecig because I was burning polymer in my attomizer and didn't know what was happening, the taste was horrible and I just wanted to sleep, since then I got my 510 and have only tried 1 analog, I could only take 3 drags then had to put it out it was so horrible!!

Try check out some of the mods available i.e. teabag, fluval, dipping and such these all helped me have a better vaping experience.

Dont try to think of it as your quitting smoking, your just doing it another way, if you want an analog, smoke one, dont put the stress and pressure on yourself, and over time you will just prefer the ecigs anyway. No WORRIES MY BRADDAH

I used to smoke menthol too and I haven't found any that I really like. I did kinda like the menthol carts that came with my SE gold. It had a spearminty flavor. I also got some with my 510 kit from e-smokeytreats, I didn't care for it. Tasted like peppermint. I don't like peppermint. As far as I've heard around here it's either a pepperminty or spearminty flavor depending on who you get it from. I've also read that using the menthol crystals is good.

I got my e ciggs to get off analogs, I am still doing both  can anyone give me some ideas on how to just stay on e ciggs? I have since I was 13 years old and am now 61..tried so many times but really want to succeed with my e ciggs...
How about having only the cigarettes you really enjoy and substitute the rest with e cigs. If you are like me, the cigarettes you really savor each day are limited to very specific times, like the first one of the day with morning coffee. Most days now I have that one in the morning and then none the rest of the day. If I truly want more than that one, I have it. At first I would have about five per day. Now, I am down to 1-2 per day. I don't worry at all about those that I do have because it is such an improvement over what I have been doing for over 40 years. Since I did not start the e cigs with the intention of quitting, I have zero pressure on myself and no guilt if sometimes I smoke a few more.

Menthol isn't a mint, but many suppliers sell 'mint' as 'menthol'. Menthol has more of a eucalyptus flavor to it.

I have tried a lot of different menthols and I stick with Puresmoker and TW because they taste the most true to me as a former 2pk/day full menthol smoker.

I just ordered menthol drops from juicyliquid after hearing that they can help throat hit with wimpy flavors (like fruits). Looking forward to checking them out!

Oh, and Evelyn, take this at your own pace. If your goal is to quit smoking for vaping, start with a list of reasons why you want to quit and every time you have the urge, read your list and hit your PV until the craving dies down.

Good luck!

I think I will try some menthol juice , once in awhile I love a menthol cigg, I am glad you found what you were looking for and it is working for you, that is great..Pharsyde

Thank you thank you. My lungs are glad, too. :) I use the TW 36 mg, taste like a Vigina Slime, wait, sry, Virgina Slim menthol to me, quite smooth but still has a great kick. I have also used the Electronic Ash menthol and it was nice as well, but IMO, TW edges the EA out on flavor but the EA is not nearly as expensive. I am going to get some menthol crystals to see if I can kick up the EA a bit and save myself some money. Well, except I just order a bunch with TW since they have a 20% off sale. 8-o I need to take a stock inventory!

I just don't happen to smoke anymore, but haven't felt the need to think of myself as a non-smoker, just a contented vaper. I started because my boss, a dedicated smoker himself, decided to buy a kit for all the smokers in the company, and though I highly doubted it would replace cigarettes for me I was willing to try the e-cig while laughingly telling him not to get his hopes up in my case. I didn't put any pressure on myself to quit smoking, and while I enjoyed vaping I continued to smoke for the first six weeks, though I discovered as time went by that I was smoking less and vaping more - not a conscious effort, just a natural course of events.
I haven't had an analog in over six weeks, and though I still carry around a year-old pack of cigarettes just because, I haven't been inclined to smoke one. The fact that it's a year old may be a natural deterrent, but I also have no urge to go buy a fresh pack, something unheard of before the e-cig (like a few others here, I would panic when I was down to that last pack - now, I have no need).
The truth is I, too, enjoy the ritual of smoking, and have no desire to leave it behind; now, I don't have to. As to not actually smoking, maybe someday I'll think of myself as a non-smoker (and for insurance purposes perhaps sooner rather than later), but in my heart I continue to think of myself as a smoker who vapes, free to light up whenever I wish, I just don't feel like it now.

I still carry cigs with me and I still smoke that first one with my first cup of coffee. I don't worry about the one I smoke. I don't think of the pack I carry as security but as back-up. I do not trust the pvs. I have four models from four suppliers and I have gotten a bad battery from every one of them. Even the pcc I bought was bad. I don't blame the suppliers. The workmanship or design of these things need to be improved.
I still smoked cigs at work and used the pv at home for awhile but not wanting to freeze my .... off this winter I made the transition while the weather is still nice.

I was always a menthol smoker and found the Cool Rush from liquidxpress to be very good. Plus, Rob at liquidxpress gave me tons of help, and even spent about an hour on the phone with me one Saturday.

I'm in the same boat as you....I like vaping, but still keep smoking. I really feel like if I just keep switching back and forth I will eventually make the jump to ecigs only. I think that feeling guilty or agonizing over it will sabotage the process, so don't worry too much about it. Every draw you take from an ecig is one less than from an analog, so even baby steps matter.

I've noticed a subtle difference in the way I vape that suddenly seems to be helping me....When I draw on the ecig, I put my tongue close to the hole in the cart. Not covering it, but allowing the vapor to go across the end of my tongue as it comes out of the cart. When I do that, I am tasting much more than when I inhaled the same way I did with an analog. Maybe this was obvious to everyone but me, but it is making a difference.

When I talked to Rob, he said that it takes a two weeks completely without analogs for our taste buds to return to normal, and that when that happens we will find the that our taste in liquid will be much different than when we first began. I am guessing that the tastebuds on the end of my tongue must be a little bit less impaired than the rest of my mouth.

I have not gotten even close to making a total switch, - sometimes I even have a cig burning in the ashtray and the ecig next to it and I switch back and forth - but strangely this morning I woke up and rather than thinking about that first cigarette, I had a bit of a craving for an ecig. For me, that's a huge step.

Like you, even the idea of not smoking used to make me feel panicky, but I think if we relax and let things happen, we'll eventually begin to prefer ecigs.

Good Luck!

I'm 20 years old, and I've only been smoking for 4 years. I've tried to quit a few times on my own and once with the patch and failed. I've probably only gone half a day in the last 3 1/2 years without an analog before I found PVs. From 20 cigs a day, I found switching to a PV really easy. I still have 1 or 2 analogs a day, but really just because my brother smokes them in the house I live in, but I feel I would have no problem switching exclusively if I really wanted to.

I have read however that there are monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) in tobacco that may add to the addictiveness, but I'm no doctor or anything so don't quote me.

You have WAY more smoking experience than I do, but for what it's worth, I really had no problem switching as far as cravings and such go...

EDIT: I definitely still have one analog first thing in the morning. If I have anymore it is usually dependent on if I do any drinking that day :)

I was a heavy smoker for many years and the only thing that got me to quit cigarettes was a good PV and some nice 36mg nicotine concentration. I cannot recommend it enough to those that were full strength and/or a pack and a half plus cig smokers. 36mg was a life-changer for me.
Thank you! You sure made me feel better.:) Got the good pv (i like it anyway), been using 24mg and it just isn't quite doing it for me. It works fine at work (12hr shifts) but when I get home it just isn't enough. I've now ordered a bunch of 36mg and I'm hoping that helps. From everything I've read here it should.

Yep, good advice, last night I ordered 36 mg too, being new, didn't think about the strength, I know now mine is not strong enough..

ok thought this was a wonderful question and was actually getting upset at hubby cause he hasn't quit analogs and hence i can't i know excuse right? well we have made a deal we dont smoke at work only at home when we are together. its working and we went from 2 packs a day together to a little less than a pack. so a carton is lasting us a while. i think im going to try to vamp up both of our mg's cause it seems that everyone is having success with that. i just got the 36mg when i started and cut it to make 90ml of 12, but i think im going to start adding a bit of kick to my 12 to help me out. i have my snus at work usually 1 and yes im a girl..lol and my e-cig with usb passthrough and no one says anyting which is good it is rainy season here in fl so it can be hit or miss if i wanted to go outside. lol. thank you for posting this question has helped me out tremendously also.
