I also think that the sigelei mini is the nicest mod in that price range--a bit higher quality than the Vamo. It is small (it takes 18350 battery, but the 18490/50 extension caps will be available soon).

A lot of people like the eVic, but it's a bit temperamental. You have to be very careful with it.

Vamo is big and bulky; it works great when it works, not so great when is doesn't. ;) But then again, this is true about all of those mods.

Except the ProVari--Provari works as advertised 99.9% of the time, and if it doesn't, it comes with a full 1-year warranty. It's also more expensive (the mini 2.5 in basic silver satin costs $159 for the mod only--charger and batteries need to be purchaesed separately) and doesn't offer VW. What it does offer is peace of mind and stellar performance.

HI Tiny, I quit cigs 5 days ago. My first kit contained an Ego vv2 mega battery (the battery itself is encased/sealed) and it came with a vision vivi nova 3.5 ml tank/atomizer ( wick system ) witch screws onto the battery/mod . You fill the tank with eliquid. This battery/mod
has a digital voltage adjustment. and it came with a usb cord and is charged from my computer (I seperately purched an ac/dc adapter so I can now plug it into a household plug to charge it instead of having to use my computer. This system is very easy, even if it doesn't sound like it right now. I found it very helpful to watch youtube video's about this device and about the tank. There are many instructional videos on youtube about different vaping apparatuses. Ive also just been researching about this device, wich looks like a cigar...and seems like it would be comfortable for a man to be using in public. Vapor Zeus - E-Cig Starter Kits | Vapor4Life. Good luck...and remeber to watch the youtube video on this device also The Ultimate: Vapor Zeus Review from V4L - YouTube

I have the Sigelei Zmax V3 telescopic flat top and enjoy it very much. It's VV and VW so you can set your watts and it automatically sets the voltage based on the resistance of your atty. Pretty much set and forget. It has excellent build quality and polished stainless steel so no fingerprints. It's telescopic so you can use any size battery from 18350 to 18650 for different sizes and battery life.

You can get it at Exhale Vapors for under $58 with the code vaporjoes11percent. Good luck in your search for an APV.

Same mod I use and its been really awesome so far, great with cartomizer tanks and bottom coil clearomizers. and the vv/vw system is top notch. most kits are in your price range also.

I second this. I got this as my first AVP a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it. Before this, I was using an 1100mah eGo Twist. Haven't touched my Twist more than 2-3 puffs here or there. If you do buy this, check out the zMax V3 Telescopic thread elsewhere on the forum and use the settings recommended there. Once I set it to VW, it changed my whole vaping experience! Love, love, love it!
