So, Lately something seems to be wrong with my e-cig. Not too sure what it is, seems to be a bad connection between my atomizer and battery. Idk. I have the tornado ego-c & this is the first issue i've had. I've tried replacing the atomizer, getting new batteries, cleaning everything & nothing seems to work. So, I've come to the conclusion im just gonna replace it. However, Idk what to replace it with. I had a bad experience with the clearomizers(?) constantly leaking and breaking & getting liquid in my mouth, and not getting anything when i hit it so i dont think i wanna go that route again & im also not sure that i wanna try the whole atomizer cone deal again because of this issue... Could anyone suggest any setups that would work? I like to keep it simple, i love my tornado, if only it was still working. Also, i have to be able to mix liquid.. I mix peach schnapps & menthol from totally wicked & its absolutely amazing. Again, Anyone have any suggestions for me, i would GREATLY appreciate it!

Hey tbbender-

Inside of the 510 threading where you atomizer connects to the battery there will be a small copper colored contact plate that is usually mounted on a spring so it can move up and down to make a good connection with an atomizer. Sometime batteries have better springs, sometimes they get gunked up and don't move. Try cleaning the area with a q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol. If that does help, try using a very small screwdriver, dental pick, or even a small paper clip and try to "lift" or pull up that contact plate a little bit.

I have one ego-t that needs this adjustment before each charge and another that never needs it. Go figure!

^This, always a good idea to try the pin fix whenever you have fire issues, heres a visual representation of the process.

Yes to the evod... good choice...

However... since you like to vape menthol... which is a tank cracker,
i'd go with evod's bigger brother... the pro-tank II, which has a pyrex-glass-tank.
Yes, Evods are weak to some flavors, such as citrus and cinnamon. Glass tank is a good alternative. The Protank II is a good bit larger, though. If you prefer a flush look, I'd go with the Mini Protank II. All of them are Kanger BCCs and use the same coil heads.

I like the eVod, alot actually & i see on google they come in a lot of different colors. Im gonna try to clean mine again, It seems that when i clean it, it'll work for just a few hits & then it stops again. No matter how long or hard I hit it, I get barely anything & my atomizer gets so hot.. I definitely like the eVod though. Whats the best site to order one from? Any ideas there? I dont think our local shop sells those here
