I don't know what you paid for how much of exactly what, but for future references, Totally Wicked sells 5 packs of 510 batteries for $25 and 5 packs of atomizers for $30. That's $5 per battery and $6 per atty. Not bad if you ask me. Now, I don't believe they're genuine Joye, but I can't tell the difference between genuine Joye and the ones Totally Wicked sells in terms of how well they work.

+10 for cignot. And they're in the mid-west, too. :)

I put my vote for Cignot, a couple vendors I tried couldn't even bother responding to my email, and another just gave me a generic answer and never bothered to answer my question. Vicki seems like she is top notch and has excellent customer service.

Thank you everyone! Went with litecig, cheap shipping and everything I needed in one place! Yay! Paid the extra $3 for priority shipping. I bought 2 packs of the soft tip cartomizers, three extra Joye attys, a plastic drip tip (don't think I'd like the metal), a regular batt, and a mega batt to try out. I'm going to get some pyramid tea bags tomorrow, to see if I can get better flavor and wicking out of these carts. Also have some juice from MadVapes and Ms. T's Bakery on the way. Hopefully all this will last awhile and will keep me happy enough to stay off the analogs. It's been over 72 hours since I've even had a hit off of one.)

One more question...

Does a cartomizer work better, ie; have better flavor and less "topping off" needed? I've found with my carts that I have to topp off every few drags or I start getting that burnt taste. UGH!!!!!

Good choice. I was just gonna post this (a msg I just posted on another thread):

Cignot ships from Illinois. Shipping fee is $5 for orders under $59.

Another great supplier is litecigusa.net. They have more parts than Cignot and are a little cheaper. Litecigusa ships from Pennsylvania and the shipping fee is $2 for orders under $75. Litecigusa also has a rewards program where you can use your rewards to pay less for stuff in the future.

I've ordered from both but order the most from Litecigusa, since they have more of the parts I need to buy and have the other benefits I listed above.

They both ship on the same or next day.

I know that Doc already answered this, but I'll agree that cartos work better, have at least the same or better flavor, and require less topping off or refilling.

When using cartridges, the filler that comes with the cartridge usually isn't very good and doesn't wick the juice very well to the atomizer bridge/mesh. So, most people will use a different filler in their cartridges -- either polyfil or blue foam or Lipton tea bags or straws or whatever they come up with on any particular day.

For the reason that cartridges can be a pita, I've chosen not to use them and just use cartomizers all the time. If I want to drip, I don't use the cartridges; I use a drip tip and use it only as a mouthpiece. I'll take off the drip tip, drip 3 drops into the atomizer, replace the drip tip, and vape for a couple of minutes, and then drip 3 drops into the atomizer, and vape for a couple of minutes, and on and on. Needless to say, I don't drip very often.

Totally Wicked is more expensive than other suppliers. I also find their site way too confusing and just a mess, so I don't go there anymore.

I still can't get the hang of cartomizers so I went back to dripping. My thinking is if I have to drip on the cartomizer every few puffs to keep from getting the burnt filler taste whats the point.

Cartomizers don't require dripping every few puffs. A properly refilled cartomizer lasts me an hour, and that's when I vape constantly, like at least 100 drags during each hour.

Doc: I did get the Boge. And I just spent another $40 on an Ego kit, thanks to you.)

Spoomsister -

You made some great choices! Exactly what I would have chosen...Boge, eGo batteries, litecigusa.net for most, if not all, the parts you'll need (except for juice).

If you ever get into needing adapters to use KR808D-1 cartos (have more flavor than Boge, and I recently tried them, liked them, and will be using only them in the future) or other types of cartos, goodprophets.com (in PA) sells adapters for 99 cents each. You don't need this info right now, but just letting you know for future reference.

I get my juice from freedomsmokeusa.com (in AZ), because I tried some other suppliers and liked FSUSA the best. There was really no comparison, so I'll just stick with FSUSA, as many of the users do after they discover how good the juice is from there.

I've also ordered from madvapes.com (in NC-edited), when I needed 2amp AC to USB wall adapters (for passthroughs) and a 2amp Car to USB adapter (to use a passthrough in my car), because they're the only supplier I know of who has the 2 amp adapters, which are needed to effectively power passthroughs (computer USB ports are only .5amp and don't supply enough power to the passthrough). This is also info that you probably don't need right now, but I wanted to mention madvapes for the 2 amp adapters.

It would be nice if one supplier had everything, but there's no supplier that I know of who does.
