There was a guy on the corner the other day he had a big poster on a stick, it said the world is coming to an end next week, everyone will perish! I guess we should all just go home and sit and wait for the world to end, right?

You have to use a bit of common sense. How many years have they known tobacco was giving us cancer? Did they Ban it? They may want to put ecigs in the analog catagory but the truth is they wont be able to much more than ban using it where they ban analogs.

Go get your better ecig and enjoy, we cant live like we are afraid of what big brother may or may not do.

Hi there and welcome to ECF

I'm based in the uk. From the reading I've done I believe all decisions on a ban have currently been reserved until spring 2012. The current government want more reliable research done on the subject.

There are some really good PV's available from reliable dealers in the uk. This forum has some excellent links in there suppliers page.

Happy vaping

There are no published reports of health issues with vaping. Anti-smoking Nazis hate vaping because it reminds them of smoking. Some of the worst anti-smoking people are former smokers (75% of Americans used to smoke).

When it comes down to basic comparisons, vaping will win out, IMO, because you have to look at health issues. Yes, the big tobacco lobby has more power, but the people who finally count are medical professionals who look at statistics. Both BT and vaping will be around in the foreseeable future.

Dripping is only recommended on manual batteries. Most people here use and recommend manual batteries.

Joye 510 manual is nice especially with Boge cartomizers (slim ecigs must get the standard resistance ones, not the hotter LR 2.9 ohm ones). I use thin juices with 20% or less VG in those. Downside is short battery life of 180mah. The Joye 510 mega xl is longer (128mm w/ a cartomizer) but is 280mah (60-70% more charge). On the manual 510 you can use a drip tip on the atomizer for testing juices etc.

Liberty-Flights.co.uk is a good shop

And for a big battery model, the Joye Ego or Riva 510 from that shop.

Hi, only been vaping for a few months but I quickly upgraded from a 510 kit to the ego-t "b" system.
Bonuses:
Longer battery life (about 2 days for me compared to an evening with a regular 510 battery)
Large tank which holds about 2ml of liquid
Battery will accept any 510 type connection so you can still use your 510 atty on an Ego-T battery (or any cartomizer/clearomizer that would fit on a 510 - I occasionally use my old 510 atty for dripping and have also used xl clearomizers but I find they're quite flimsy)

Drawbacks:
Atty requires some hands on cleaning and tinkering (can be eliminated if you use cartos which I also have for travelling)
Much bigger, more medium cigar-sized than cigarette-sized

I am in uk and had a few types the first I had was probably the same u have now,but battery life rubbish and only had one,I then went with the Titan 510 which was good with 2 batts so wasn't without it,my final purchase was/is the riva1100, the 1100 being good batteries and am currently trying different juices.I am lovin the riva good luck with your choices.I find that most people around don't even understand what I am doing ,I am not worried about a ban because it will be a while off and we would probs be able to get what's needed anyway if just going the DIY route. Cheers Micky
