Thank yardbyrd. I've pretty much already decided to go with the SSGGTS, i think I'll make it official and pick it up :)

I bought a well made clone of it to test out a mechanical mod, and I loved it, I would much like to have the real thing and stay away from clones.

I also have a brand new Tesla, but no matter the voltage or watts, even very low, it just seems kinda harsh and doesn't seem to smoke very well, mainly on the exhale. Did I get a lemon you think? I hear Tesla is supposed to be about as good as a provari but a third(or more) of the price.

CAW! First: I must say bacc.vap you R-O-C-K! Good info and posts; my compliments. Regarding the Tesla: Here is my totally 100% subjective feedback: Check the supply system and then the type of e-liquid you are vaping in it. I have heard of very few "Lemon" Teslas. I offer this for your consideration: Varied supplied systems provide varied performance across different mods. Try a different supply system on that Tesla! :) The quality and PG/VG ratio of the e-liquid, used in the supply system of choice, can also influence it. I have found...for some odd reason... that when I VV/VW vape that SOMETIMES I can actually back down on the VV or VW and get almost the same vapor, flavor, and throat hit, as I do at higher levels. My guess: Check out the supply system you are using on that Tesla. Good luck Mikex123...but fortune has already favored you...you're here on ECF! CAW!

Thanks Yardbyrd, your post helps, I was wondering if it was something like that. I bought all organic ejuice from a popular web vendor, and it is very watery I noticed, compared to the halo ejuice i have for my ego. When I get my new atty in the mail I will have to try the halo stuff and see if that helps.

Another thing, even at low volts/watts, the tip of the mouthpiece gets very hot after about 2-3 seconds, it actually gets very hot on my lips if I take a large drag on it.

Should I pass on the GGTS and perhaps get a Provari instead to replace the Tesla? I do like mech mods though.

The guy selling the GGTS was a hardcore collector, he said if I bought his entire collection he would give me a huge discount for sparing him the time/trouble of selling it piece by piece. Its all high end stuff which he wouldnt even use, he would just show it off. I wonder if I should buy it all and get a good deal, or just the GGTS... is it slowly building up a collection thats the most fun part... I could get 2-3 grand worth of unused mods/attys for 1 grand, tough choice considering Im not exactly swimming in cash. I do positively love vaping and will never go back, LOVE it.

There is a loud POP and YardByrd is suddenly there seated on his plain, brown, wooden, Realm traveling perch, with a bevel cut on 1/4 of the "T". A platinum "YB" medallion around his neck glows orange and you hear a deep, smooth, male, Latin, voice translating for him:

Hail, lauds, and greetings Mikex123! I can only offer my 100% totally subjective opinion and will do so. Re: the Tesla. It sounds like something is definitely wrong. Are you using AW IMR 18650 batteries or flat tops? My experience has been that certain VV/VW mods will accept flat top batteries but display performance issues with them. If your drip tip is getting hot that fast there is a definite issue and I believe it is the battery you're using or connectivity. Re: The GG vs. Provari vs. Tesla: I am fortunate enough to own an SSGGTS and a Provari. I won the Provari in a Provapes contest, here on ECF, last year. All I can say is what I would do. Here is what I would do. I'd get one GG and with the funds saved by not buying the collection buy a Provari. I also would try to get the Tesla thoroughly checked out, somehow, and double check battery type used, connectivity, if it still is under warranty, and supply system. If the problem you describe occurs across various supply systems, and you are confident of the battery you are using for that mod, it has, as I said, has a definite issue.

Alas! Demands of other Realms call. Take your time, follow your gut instincts, and ultimately base your decision on what it is that you want. CAW! :)"

YardByrd looks straight up and suddenly looks petrified like a statue. The sound of a fly, gnat, or some other airborne insect starts buzzing and suddenly the statue shatters into a pile of blue shards that seem to dissolve the perch as they fall and vanish.
