I need to know

I need to know if the 808's will work with a 510 to 901 adapter. I have my map tank but the C2 burned out after the second tank while I was dry burning after cleaning. I see that I can use the 808 C2 XLs but just need to know about the adapter since I've never used an 808 of any kind before. Thanks anyone!
