I don't normally eat lunch but I enjoy my long "smoking" breaks and go hang in the smokers area here and read generally.
I keep coming in and smell like smoke :(

One person a few weeks ago even asked if it was ok they were smoking, and I gotta say i'd be some sort of ... to say "no, you can't smoke in the designated smoking area" LOL....

but i'm sitting here and I can totally smell it on me now :(

I just stay away from the smoking area. I can still vape in my bay area or I just go to the table outside my shop area.

I cant stand the smell anymore either, the worst was my car, it took a $130 interior detail job before I could stand to be in it with out having all 4 windows rolled down. Not fun when its 120 degrees out side. I'm not sanctimonious, people preaching to me just caused me to hold my pack of cigs tighter. I just let them be and avoid them all together.
I feel really guilty about my wife (non smoker) she had to put up with it for years

I never realized how bad I smelled to everyone else when I was a smoker. I just figured I could pop a mint or something and everything would be ok... WRONG!

I grew up in a smoking home, so I can't say the smell has ever really "bothered" me, but I now know it is there. Yes it does stink, but being used to it I can live with it. However, I can see how some one who never smoked, or was never really around smokers could take offense to the odor. When I first started getting my sense of smell back I was out with my fiance and I asked her after we walked by a smoker... Did I really used to smell like that? Of course she said I did and I apologized for it. She has told me many times since she is so happy I no longer smell and taste like an ashtray.

YEP! my mom visited literally like a week or so since i'd had my last cig and asked if she could smoke in my car and i'm like "meh, might as well"

I got in my car later and I was like....geez....gross!

Walking into my dad's house. He's a super clean freak but no matter how clean he has his house, the smell just comes off those walls and everything else. I've gotten used to it and thankfully I'm a bit stuffed up recently haha So I don't notice it too much but it's still there.

And Oh my gosh, the cat box. I used to not be able to smell it very much unless one of the cats just visited it, but now.. @_@ I almost want to buy an air freshener just to stick next to it haha
