I only vape a few times a week and probably less than 15 hits when I do. I purchased some glycerin from Michael's and have just been adding a drop or two to my nic free cartridge when I run out of vapor or when it gets dry.

Is it safe (health wise) to do this? I bought some LorAnn's from Walmart so that I could vape a flavor instead of just straight glycerin but I'm not sure if they are okay to mix (they have colorings such as red 40 and blue and some have alcohol). If you mix your own liquid, what LorAnn's flavoring have your tried and how did they taste? I do have the DIY bookmarked but just not sure which flavor to use to get started....

Thanks for your help! :)

search loranns DIY thread, there a bunch of posts stating all of the safe flavors to use-probably about 20 of them--here's just a couple off the top of my head:

pralines and creame, apples, pineapple, mango, sassafras, strawberry kiwi, pina colada, caramel, english toffee, coconut, bavarian creme, cinnamon roll, licorice, cotton candy, bubble gum. lemonade, pistachio

I would read those labels closely for added color, added color is not a good thing to use. I ordered several tonight myself, but a few I wanted had added color, such as grape, rootbeer etc so I didn't order them.

Hey guys! Maybe it's late and I'm just reading this thread wrong but shouldn't the answers have started with:

None of us know if ANY of this is safe. We think it is much safer than smoking, though! Most of us agree that vaping VG should not be any worse than PG (sometimes better if PG doesn't agree with you). We think the flavours are OK for vaping without food colourings (but again we don't really know). Most of us avoid colourings (except with regards to really yummy flavours that always seem to want to use caramel colour) but others think the colours won't bother you too bad (and, hey, better than stinkies!).

Then we get to pipe in with the:
Oils will kill your atomizers! Make sure you use fully water soluble flavourings. And stuff like that...

No?

Or maybe I'm just too tired...
