Question about glycerine

I bought a 60ml bottle of glycerine from michaels yesterday and i created a small (1ml total) batch of 50/50 (half 24mg grape e-juice and half glycerine) so it is 12mg strength. Is this going to taste better than the full dose? What ratio of glycerine should i have for the ultimate flavor/vapor/nic content. Im basically wondering what do you guys like? do you guys use 20% glycerine? 50%? or what? i dont have any flavor drops to spice it up if its weak.

What do you guys reccomend i do? i want anywhere from 12mg nic to 24mg nic (which would be default). For the best of both worlds how much glycerine should i add? (i have alot of little ependorf tubes that hold 1.7ml total, i have been putting my own mixes in)

I think your taste in what you like is going to be the answer to you question here.
Try it both ways, without glycerin and with; and see what you think. Adding glycerine will certainly weaken your grape flavor. You did not say what your nicjuice was made of.
Likely it has either a combination of glycerin and PG or just PG. It's kinda an experimental thing for individuals. Hope you find your sweet spot on taste. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, I think it's just propylene gylcol. The reason I'm interested in vg is because slot of people in the forum seem to like vg more than pg

The reason most people use VG is either because they want to increase vapour production or because they can't tolerate PG. If you're ok with PG, you shouldn't have to add VG unless you're not getting enough vapour.

vg produces more vapor.. pg gives a bit sweeter taste..

a 50/50 cut will cut the flavor bad.. if you are after more vapor.. in the 1ml bottle i would only fill 1/10 of it with vg then the rest with the flavored liquid.

you can probably find grape lorann's flavoring and micheals or hobby lobby.. if you feel that you need to add more vg

Well more vapor is always a good thing and I also want to stretch my juice as long as possible.

If I wanted to create 1.5ml of 16mg concentrated e juice how much of each would I add?(btw my current juice is 24mg)

yes 1/10 will increase the vapor.. it really does not take that much.. you can cut it more but the flavor goes way down..

you can pick up flavorings for cheap around 2-3$ if you do that then you can cut it more without worrying about flavor loss..

for this to not loose flavor.. you can buy a higher nic content of the same flavor and cut it with vg.. then add it to your bottle..

or just get high mg of unflavored and some vg and cut with small amounts.. or if larger amounts are needed get some flavorings


I used to buy the premixes.. it is so much better to mix your own.. costs a lot less you can get the flavor, vapor and mg how you like. it is pretty simple just get double the nic strength that you want final product to be and you can eyeball making it..
