I ordered these Boge cartomizers to have for a backup and Assuming these are not the ones for tanks wanted to know how many drops of liquid I need for them, also is it better to add a drip tip if possible or just use it without. It also says regular resistance so I'm assuming it is around 2.0 right?? Hoping I made a good decision on this pick of cartomizer, comes with 5.

You are correct, 2.0 ohm is standard resistance. Any lower number is considered lower resistance (LR) and will provide more of a warmer or hotter vapor. The cartos without holes are for use to use alone on your battery connector; the ones with lazer-drilled holes are for use in a cartomizer tank.

The Boge cartomizers are a favorite of PBusardo, a well known reviewer of e-cigarette gear. He did a demo video on how he fills his. He uses what is known as the "condom" method. You can also just drip your juice into the top of the carto, taking care not to allow any juice to get into the air hole (you can put a wooden tooth pic in while you add your juice). Add juice until the polyfill looks like a moist slushy drink.

You can use any 510 drip tip to top off your cartomizer. The Cherry Vape ming style is a very popular one that look good on a carto or tank and feel good on your lips. http://shop.cherryvape.com/Drip-Tips_c4.htm

Those are regular cartomizers. The condom method would work pretty well with them. I have a blog post about how to fill these with pictures. Just scroll down to the pictures(unless you would enjoy reading my blog) and it will tell you how to do it step by step with a description. Yeah getting either a carto punch or a saddle valve to punch em for a tank would work or you can fill em and use em as is.

Not sure how many drops 1ml is but the poster above said how it should look. A slushy drink appearance. The toothpick in the center is a great idea flooding out the coil shortens the life of the carto.

There are videos a plenty for punching cartos and filling em regular. I would link some but I'm on my phone at work ATM :/

I'm a little confused when it comes to cartomizers I wanted to buy one that is not used in a tank and just for vaping alone,How can you tell the difference. Are some made (non-tank)?? and not to be punched.
Thanks Frosting,I guess I will Try this condom method when I get them,It seems weird submerging the carto in the fluid.Wouldn't want to flood it in any way.

It appears to me to be a regular pack of cartomizers. From what i've recently seen, cartos for a carto tank that are prepunched are more expensive(13/15$ a pack of 5). However, I do not use a carto tank and know little about that. I think you are okay though. Hope the how-to helps!

Here's another video on how to fill a cartomizer. This shows the method that I prefer, by dripping into the top of the carto. I do shake and flick the carto like shown in the video, but I don't spin mine in the baggy :nah: . Don't forget about the toothpic to block the airhole.

As long as the carto has no holes in the steel barrel, it is safe to use alone on your battery.

The same cartos may be used in a cartotank, but holes would be required to be punched to be used this way.

Thank you so much for posting this! After reading and reading, I still didn't understand what a cartomizer was, nor did I understand drip tips. I've got it now and I need to hide my debit card from myself.

Seriously, thank you!

When I used cartos like this at work i would put a tooth pick in the center then drip into the filling, about 10-12 drops let em sit then add 5-10 more, doing like 3 or 4 at a time, then later on I started to use a drip tip, that way you can just add some more liquid when they start to dry up instead of changing them out constantly. had some that lasted quit a long time.
