I painted my Woodvil.

No, I'm not an idiot. I painted it inside and out with mineral oil and a small paintbrush.

I'll post some pics after dinner. Here it is before the oiling.........

I didn't have a small brush, so when I did a coating of mineral oil on the insides of mine, I used a q tip. That was a slight mistake. I ended up with tiny wet 'fuzzies' all over. I need to find a little brush. Maybe in Ms Rule's make up box...heh heh.

Imagine that! A Hoople who would mod the Woodvil to fit the slot he created before he knew the measurements. Hahahaha.

I got lucky and oversized the slot for the Woodvil. It fits in there with no prob.

Sure glad I picked up some small paint brushes when I got mineral oil today at home depot.
Good chance mine shows up tomorrow, I can't wait!

Still waiting for my Woodvil to paint with mineral oil. In the mean time - how is that Pinot Noir? My favourite red variety. Small production of same down here. Find the Chile Pinot Noirs of outstanding quality.

I just use a lint-free cloth on mine. I like the idea of a small brush for the inside though, I'll give that a try.
