HELP!

I am flying domestically next week with my mom and she doesn't know I vape (I know, I know, I am an adult, but she would KILL me if she ever knew I smoked and would not understand vaping. And yes I managed to hide the fact I smoked for years.)

Right now I only have evod batteries, am I to understand that they HAVE to go in your carry on bag? If they are in my carry on separated from the tanks will TSA take them out of the carry on or will my bag go through without question?

Also, can I seal up my Aspire BDC tanks with juice in them can I put those in my checked luggage? I have several tanks and I would not need to bring extra juice, I am not going to be gone long enough to need more than is already in the tanks. I just don't want to get stopped and have my tanks and evods taken out and be "outted" to my mom, lol. Again I know it is a little silly, but such is the way it is, lol.

I can't help you with the TSA stuff BUT...

I'm with you on the mom thing.

I'm OLD and my mom still has that power over me and I hide anything that I know will result in her disapproval. (yet somehow, she still finds plenty to disapprove of...)

I'm sure someone will be able to answer your questions and have a safe flight :) I hope you are able to keep your secret!

Thanks Bontasia, glad I am not the only one that still fears the wrath of MOM, lol. If I HAVE to I will go vape free for the time I am there (traveling from Alabama to Oregon for my niece's high school graduation), but I really DON'T want to.

Hi MissyG

I've flown a few times, and not had any problems at all....nothing taken out, no rescannings, nothing.

I would check the liquids in this case, to avoid having to take them out (bc they're liquid), but be sure to put in plastic bag or something. They're likely to leak bc of the pressure change.

I've seen other threads on here, and it seems to not me a problem at all.

Enjoy your trip!

I'm sorry, why not Grow a Pair (that may be hard if you are female) and own up. Just how old are you?

Honesty is Always the Best Policy. Or didn't anyone ever teach you that.
So you would rather Lie to your mother? Is this something you learnt or is it just your nature?

Ok I'm done. Have a safe trip.

You can put your tanks in your checked bag (in sealed baggies, cause they will likely leak). If you want to carry the filled tanks on, they must be in the quart baggie with your other carry on liquids.

You should carry on the batteries, not check them. TSA at the Birmingham, Al airport is familiar with e-cig batteries. Mine have always gone through the x-ray without anyone asking about them.

The only time i ever had TSA question batteries was on a return flight when a new agent was being trained. The training agent asked if they could send them through the x-ray once more so the newbie would learn to recognize them.
