I preordered the Atlatis 2 , help with rebuilding the OCC

So they are similar to the version one but with bigger juice channels , im thinking about a horizontal coil . I have 26g , 28g and 24g wire but here is the problem , after rebuilding the OCC on my subtank , I got a little bit of a rubber taste which ...... me off and I stopped vaping on it . Im thinking about getting some NR-R-NR but they dont seem to have anything below 0.2 mm which is 32gauge . Anyone have an idea ?
