I pulled the wicking out by mistake

I have searched the forum and if I did miss the thread please send me in the right direction.
When i was cleaning an atty , I thot I was pulling off the filler materials, but come to find out I pulled out the wicking.
Is there anything I can do to still use these???
Direct drip, anything else?
Need some help they are a few weeks old and I hate to throw them out.

Direct drip is about it. You could see if they work with a wet cartridge but I doubt it. Perhaps offer them for a trade with some dripper that happens to have some with wicking yet.
