I pulled out the wick on the atty....completely.
I thought it was just some stray fuzz from the commercial carts. I reached in there with a pair of tweezers and yanked it out.
It turned out to be string with the ends singed - wick.
The atty still works fine!
Maybe better than ever except I seem to be getting more juice leak in to my mouth after priming 8-o.
I'm not sure if this is related.

The atties inability to wick juice from the cart may be causing the liquid in the mouth issue you speak of! All is not lost however as I hear wickless atties are great for dripping! Depending on the model of e-cig you are using, pop off the cart and drip 2 - 3 drops directly into the atomiser, reattach the mouthpiece minus cart and enjoy!

So far, contrary to guidance, it seems to work well with carts (PTBM) but leaks with dripping.
This makes sense to me since there's no wick to hold the prime.
Other than that I can't explain it. I had two attys. Lost one.
Now I have only the wickless atty and am blissfully tugging away at it as I write. More due in the mail by Tues.
It will be interesting to A/B them although I'm sure this has been done by a few here. I doubt I'm the first to make this faux pas.

I did the same thing with my 510 atty. I put on a menthol cart for a friend to try. After switching back to my vanilla/coffee combo, I could still taste the menthol after several refills. I washed with it hot water, and dried it with the air compressor. And it still tasted like menthol. At this point, I looked inside the thing and saw what I thought were cart fibers wedged under the bridge. After taking them out, I realized they were different, but I didn't think much of it. The atty still works well with carts. I didn't even realize it might be a problem until I read about it on the forum.
