Hey all,

Since I got my eGo last month, I have been neglecting my KR808s. I love the eGo experience and highly recommend it.

Today, however, when both my eGo batts were drained, I loaded up a fresh carto and got the 808s out of retirement. Works great! No wonder I quit smoking! I might give my eGo a break for a while and order some more cartos.

If you prefer the KR8 cartos you can always get an adapter and use them on the ego. Or get 510 cartos. Or an ego type that is natively threaded for KR8s. Aren't options a great thing to have?

Where can I get an EGO size battery that is threaded for the KR808's? I love my 808 cartos but when I use the 510 to 808 adapter the air flow is terrible! Would love to have an EGO-sized KR808!

The Defender works with Kr808s, I believe. I think Vapor Nine sells them.

Don't bother with mods like that they're a bit of a ripoff, all you gotta do is buy an adapter for 99 cents from Good Prophets 510>808, his ones are the good airflow ones which you can adjust with a screwdriver, i know most of them you can do that with too but the airflow isn't the same as his adapters.

You are a blessing! Thank you! I got my adapter from GP. I just took the handy dandy screwdriver to it after watching a video I found and the airflow is awesome now!! Now I don't have to buy anything new - just use my EGO and my RIVA and the adapter and I'm good to go!!!! You saved me money - now I can buy more cartos and juice! LOL

You're welcome A lot of people don't know that you can screw that center post to make the airflow dramatically different.
They actually end up working better than a 808 threaded battery because you can adjust it exactly to your liking.

Carto Adapter Adjustment Video

Do you have links for the adjustment videos? I'm going to get an adapter on my next order from Good Prophets. One thing about my eGo, I love the handfeel and the button way better than my 808s. Plus, since I got the eGo, my girlfriend has been taking my 808 batteries. I wanna see how the cartomizers work out.

The eGo does not put out 3.7v under load like a KR8 (it's in the low 3v's) so if you're not using cartomizers around the 2.5ohm mark or lower it might seem like it hits weak compare to the KR8 battery, you'll have to test it out and see what you think. KR8 cartos on a proper mod is amazing though.
