I Really Don't Get the 510

I've heard all the hype about vapor etc. I started out with a 401, then 901, then 801, then Janty Stick. From this progression I just figured that bigger, more power, etc = more vapor flavor etc.

Then I finally bought a 510 just to prove it to myself.......

I am confounded. This little bitty atty, small bat, small cart... BOOM! Nice vapor, good flavor, switching out the bat every hour or so.. but still!!! It just keeps producing and producing!!!

If someone can manufactor this thing whats with the other stuff??!!

I have to nurse everything else, this 501 just BOOM - BOOM - BOOM!!! There has got to be something significantly different about the 510. What the h*ll is it? And why isn't it being done to all the other stuff????

Heck if I know, but since my one and only PV is a 510, I worry that I've spoiled myself for anything but 6V mods

510 adapter available for Janty Stick may work for you.

I love my 510 for the same reason. The atty works awsome on my coldheat soldering iron too. Clouds of vapor. 510 atty + 6volts = insanity, and I love it.

The design of the atomizer cart combination is the reason. The shortcommings of the battery can be eliminated with a mod. If the FDA allows the industry to continue we should see a lot more mods on the market.

One ecig/atty just won't work for everyone...I know of at least 3 peeps off hand that hate the 510, Due to it running hotter and them swearing their 901 blows it away in the flavor department, other disagree....And yet others like to "Dip" there attys= 401..Still others like the cooler, large capacity carts of the 801 atty... Different strokes for different folks....

I personally want them all :: laugh

I own 6 510's plus 2 of the new mega batteries from TW and 5 new atty's from innovapor and I love them but I keep hearing about 901 and 801 and wanna try them but not pay $40+ for starter kits. Then when I was buying my PT from RMV I saw they have 901 and 801 manual kit for $23 shipped . So now I can try them without spending a fortune I also wanna try the snus tobacco e cig with my 510 if it can be done!!!!!!!

I thought the popularity of the 510 was because it is a newer model... So I ordered one, actually I ordered a copper manual with purple LED, PCC, and passthrough with 4 extra attys.

It arrived yesterday and I must say I LIKE IT a lot!

I like my 901s, but the draw is very hard, I like my 801s, but the throat hit is weak, I like my 4081s (nothing at all to complain about there).

The 501 has easy draw, good taste, vapor, and throat hit all in one small device. So far it's also very consistent like the 801.
The only thing that works as good is my BE112 at 4.8 volts, but the home built USB mod doesn't leave the house.

It's not just hype, it's a good e-cig IMHO.

Im just glad I found this ECF and found the 510. Its the only one I use now. Made so many mistakes before. Blu, I thank you for the e-cig introduction but Im sticking to my 510.

Actually I bought my (only PV) 510 after the research I did here. I read so many good things about it I had to get it. Couple that with the awesome juice from ecigsmokestore.com and you have one helluva vape experience. I quit analogs the day it arrived.

Like others i bought a 510 after a lot of reading on the forum
a cylon it is a great unit and a batt will last me most of the day
I use and sell the 901 but i can't say its any better than my 510

I use my 510 at work, use up both battery's and then come home, relax and enjoy my 910.
The 910 has more flavor and a better throat hit. Don't get me wrong, I like the 510, not sure exactly why yet, I've only had it a couple of weeks. Maybe because of the manual switch?
Was going to get a manual 901 battery, but decided to see what all the fuss was about the 510. So far I like it.
I like my 910 too.

I actually get a lot of flavor out of my 510 including the throat hit, it's just about perfect in every way, but I still can see better coming along in the future as in longer battery life, and even more vapor, longer lasting atomizers ( although mine have lasted a very long time). Can't complain about the 510, when I have smokers try it, they are shocked and even almost harmed by the intense throat hit they didn't expect. The good thing is we can control exactly what kind of hit we desire at the moment. I want to try the 910 for flavor that people talk about though. If the 910 could only get the throat hit too, it would be topps sounds like. Upcoming models hopefully. 510 rocks !!!

I know I'm new here and this is my first post but I just thought I'd chime in on this. I've bought a bunch of e-cig models since being introduced to vaping. Now maybe I just got some really awesome atomizers but my 901s are going on 6 weeks old and with the right juice, they easily have the same throat hit as my 510s. I do prefer my 510 more but I can also understand why certain folks say the 901s deliver more flavor. The 901 is a very decent unit and I'm glad I started with it.

That said, I only carry my VKing and 510 with me during the day now...

I have 4 batteries that are failing slowly. As soon as they go out, I'll use them for atty connectors in a Nocostick. Problem solved.

I love my Titan eenie, or whatever the new name for it is, coupled with a mega battery. Bliss and heaven. I'm surprised though that more users haven't tried the M201. I actually prefer it now over the 510. Even with an automatic battery, it simply satisfies. The only drawback is it gets a little messy when topping off, there's always juice running up the side, that can wind up on the cart, but WOW! I love it so much that I splurged and pre-ordered a Vapre51 from Litecig. Can't wait! Love my 510 to distraction, however

lol i seen the title of this thread and i took it to quite negative so i clicked and raised my boxing gloves upwards to cover half my face ...... pleasently supprised lol .... i love the 510 ... bought 3 other models before finding the 510 .... its just works .... had 4 batteries for 6 months now and they are starting to go down hill but still giving me just over an hour each .... just bought another 4 batteries to replace them ... will be getting a silver bullet pretty soon and a creator (vapouk king) ... not cos i need them ...cos i want them waaaaa

Chain vaper here. My analog habit included having a cig hanging off my lip while my hands were full. The 901 is the best I've found that will deliver a good hit when you take a moment to concentrate on puffing AND give the illusion of a burning cig in mouth with an occasional gentle short puff - all hands free. So it is my primary when actually working. But my job involves a lot of driving as well, so I get to enjoy my 510 then.

Carry 2 of each attie, 4 901 bats, 2 510 bats and a PCC plus filled carts for each and extra juice for top offs.

IMHO: 510 has the edge in vapor, throat hit, draw and consistency. 901 has the edge in taste and battery life (but 510 PCC cancels this advantage). But there is not really that much of a difference. Both perform very well for me.
