Welcome to ECF! Did your kit come with prefilled cartridges? If it did, then just screw an atomizer on to the battery and insert a cart into the open end of the atomizer. If you did not get prefilled carts, then you'll need to drip juice on to the filler in the cart until it looks glossy then just put it into the open end of the atomizer.

You'll want to start charging one of the batteries right away so plug the charger into the usb port on the wall adapter, or your computer if you like, and screw a battery onto it. You can use the other one while it's charging. With the atomizer, you'll want to blow out as much of the primer fluid as you can so just put the end without the threads in your mouth and blow through it into a paper towel or napkin. Blow hard several time until no more liquid is coming out. Then screw the atomizer onto the battery, put a prefilled cartridge on and take a few puffs withough inhaling. The primer fluid that remains will still taste nasty. Then try inhaling, if it makes you gag take a few more drags without inhaling and then try again. When the first battery is charged, switch them so you can start rotating charged with discharged batt's.

You can't really adjust strength of the juice, just the amount of vapor you take in. If you find it too strong or too weak you'll have to buy juice that you think will be at the level you think you need. 24mg is what I use all the time, some people like less nic, others more. Just try what you've got and see how it works for you.

I'm looking at a box of parts right now, and I have no idea where to start. Someone please help me out - I'm supposed to quit smoking tonight after 16 years.
I got my kit without directions as well. The battery should be charged. So just screw the atomizer to the battery. Then screw the cone on. (it is for looks only. It has no function). Remove the cart that was on the atomizer. (it is usually just a cover with nothing in it.) Then put a new (filled cart) on the atomizer. If you have any eliquid, place 2 drops right on the atomizer. If not that is ok. Push the button and take a drag. The first few drags or even the first cart may taste off a little bit. That is due to the liquid they put on the atty when it was manufactured to keep it moist. I suggest you get some eliquid and fill you carts if you don't already. It will be much cheaper and you can easily fill your carts. Also, your attys will last longer if you can keep them moist. Easy to do if you can add a few drops her and there.
I hope this helps.

Welcome and congratulations on your new kit!

Overall it is a very simple thing and the previous posts have it covered. Just make sure you have charged batteries so you don't run out. Then read up around here and select a supplier to get extra pre-filled cartridges so that you can create a stock to allow for the 2-3 days it takes for them to arrive via mail. Also, try and find a supplier that readily lists their phone number on their site. Call them tomorrow. You can ask any questions you may have. They should happily answer and help you select what is right for you in plain English.

In any case, you have what you need for a good start. After reading and experimenting a bit with various combinations of juice, cartridges, batteries etc you will see how easy it is to create a combination that very closely mimics what you enjoyed with cigarettes.

All the best and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What you have right now is just the tip of the ice burg as far as eGo equipment goes. When you get comfortable with your gear, you may want to start researching other eGo gear such as MEGA/XL atomizers and cartomizers, LR atomizers, you may want to look into dripping... all that is later though.. focus on what you have for now, just know that you made an excellent choice in getting the eGo and there are tons of options available for them.

I have an eGo as well, I just ordered my first MEGA cartomizers and MEGA atomizers and cartridges. I can't wait to try 'em out!

Good luck!
