PTB isn't in the atty, it's in the cart, if someone buys Pyramid Tea Bags (from Lipton) to replace the polyfill that's usually in them.

Apparently there's some difference of opinion on whether what you've done is a good idea or not. Others have done the same and say it's great, others say it can shorten the atty life. I guess you'll get to find out!

Ah, okay. I get it. That's an annoying thing about this forum. Too much lingo I don't get yet.

The way I look at it, I'd rather have good hits/shorter life then crappy hits longer life.

I have had the same filler (teabag) in all day and it's still going, no refilling.

The cost is a non-issue IMO.

What is the point of removing the mesh bridge? If you use cartridges, this completely defeats the purpose of the bridge. If you are dripping without the bridge, you will consistantly floord the atomizer and have inconsistant results from your atomizer. Let us know why this procedure was useful.

I removed the wick thing at the base in the atty, AND the mesh covering the post.

I've had better hits with this than with a regular atty. This is with carts.
I haven't tried it yet with dripping.

Dude, this makes almost no sense at all.
If you're right, then you are about to teach us all something.

The mesh is needed to wick up juice from the cartridges, as far as I understand it.
And the wicking material underneath the bridge helps to funnel it down to the atomizer coil.

Removing either is bad, but removing both should make your atomizer almost useless.
I'm sure looking forward to finding out what is going on here.

There is a metal piece UNDERNEATH the mesh that still goes up and hits your filler/cart/juice. That gets hot and creates the vapor.

It works, that's all I can say.

That mesh should operate like a heatsink for the bridge. If you remove it...I guess...the bridge would get hotter--faster............maybe it will burn out quicker or not.

I haven't heard of the bridge melting from such extra heat, or anything like that. Basically, I think any internal wires get their solder melted off and the wire disconnects on its own--I think.

You all have no clue how an atomizer works. Provide some specific information abot how removing the bridge and/or mesh around the bridge has significantly enhanced you vaping expereince.

 What specific info? Read my posts again.

You think I was trolling/joking when I specifically said "I get better vapes after I ripped the mesh and wick out of my atty." ??

Read my posts again.

Or try it yourself. If you don't want to, then don't.
