That mesh should operate like a heatsink for the bridge. If you remove it...I guess...the bridge would get hotter--faster............maybe it will burn out quicker or not.

I haven't heard of the bridge melting from such extra heat, or anything like that. Basically, I think any internal wires get their solder melted off and the wire disconnects on its own--I think.

I agree, good point. We'll see how long it lasts.

I ended up pulling out the fabric (well, some of it) that's between the mesh and the pot today, because I was 100% completely convinced it was burnt because of the taste I was getting out of one of the pre-made carts.

Turns out, I'm almost 99% sure it was fine. Atty still works for the moment (Hurrah!).

Side note, I apparently really dislike whatever tobacco flavor comes with the 510 carts from TECC. I got my kit and just started using the juice I ordered from them.

All the things you are removing from the atomizer are there for a specific purpose. If you found that removing these things from the atomizer improved your vaping experience, explain why. Don't tell me to do it or not, tell me what improved. Quantify and qualify your comments. Your post may lead new vapers to start messing with their atomizers and potentially cause more problems for themselves and for the suppliers thant sold them the devices.

 What specific info? Read my posts again.

You think I was trolling/joking when I specifically said "I get better vapes after I ripped the mesh and wick out of my atty." ??

Read my posts again.

Or try it yourself. If you don't want to, then don't.
