... and it was disgusting. It's been a couple weeks since I've had one and I resorted to buying a pack because my atomizer is ruined and I couldn't wait until tommarow afternoon to buy a new one. The taste is just disgusting once you haven't had one for a long time. E-cigs taste so much better and don't dry up your mouth or leave you with that nasty after taste in your mouth. YUCK! :(

Did anyone else feel that way when they had one after a long time of not having any?

Yes I did. Had been vaping for 4 to 6 weeks without a cigarette. Batteries all ran dead at the same time. Opened a new pack of Pall Mall's and lit one up. Thought I was going to be ill. It was horrible.

Funny thing is, all that time I was vaping I was thinking I really really wanted a cig. When I lit that one up and immediately put it out, I looked at my husband and said, "I will never smoke another cigarette as long as I live". It was kind of a good feeling to know that I really really was Done with Cigs for good.

Hope you get an atomizer tomorrow.

True story. I remember reading all of the "I tried an analog after a couple days of vaping and it was sooooo icky" comments and thinking that yaw'll were just a bunch of snobs. ;)

Then I recently found myself in a spot where I was at a bachelor party sans a charged battery. Took a drag from a friend's smoke, and bleh... straight up, pure, unadulterated nastiness.

Tried one after about 4-1/2 months, just because I felt like it. Did a "Holy ratsnit, batman!" :D Confirmed I'm now a non-smoker, smoking is nowhere near as good as any of the stuff I vape.

If you would like a backup disposable one-piece, I got one from Apollo in their year-end giveaway -- you're more than welcome to it, supposed to last about 500 puffs. (I have plenty of HW and juice.)

After using e-cigs for 18 months I had to go another city to get my passport renewed. After coming out of the police station I took a long puff on my e-cig and that killed the atomizer. I had three hours before I would come home to my other e-cig, so I bought a packet of tobacco cigarettes. The first tasted incredibly foul. I could hardly believe how bad it tasted, considering I had smoked so many such cigarettes from 15 to 57 years of age. I had to smoke two more tobacco cigarettes before I got home, and surprisingly those two tasted good.

It shows that you can get used to the foul taste of tobacco cigarettes very quickly, it is only the first one that shows you the big difference.

I was in a rotten mood, maybe a week into vaping. Hungry and surrounded by a-holes, I bummed a cig and smoked the WHOLE thing. I was attempting to curb my appetite, but I got much more than that.

I got physically ill. I started getting dizzy, felt like I was going to throw up, and just generally felt BAD for 20-30 minutes after. And to top it off, I could smell the stink on me for hours and hours. I was disgusted. It was the last whole cigarette I'd had. I took a few puffs off a super menthol-y cig maybe a week or so after that, not enough to make me feel bad, but enough to soothe my sinuses, which were very sore and achy. I was waiting on my menthol e-juice to arrive at the time. I took a few drags and thought "man I miss smoking." Then I was like, "Wait, NO I don't!!" I hit the cig like a PV, and only liked it because I took 1 monster hit of menthol. Got a new supply of juice and was good to go.

Maybe stock up on some cartomizers... a pack of 5 should run you less than $10, they are easy to use and disposable. When it goes bad, toss the $1.50 product and move on to a fresh one. I think I've tossed one since I started (a week into vaping).

Well, so far, I have not fell back into my old ways and after reading all these posts
I hope I do not have to feel that "sick" feeling you all are talking about.
I went to a Casino yesterday, and my batteries died out. I did "think" about
buying a pack, but I fought the temptation.
I got online this morning and ordered 4 more batteries!
Not gonna get caught like that again!

My husband and I quit analogs the same day we got our Starter Kit (yeah, we made the mistake of only getting ONE Starter Kit for both of us to use). Unfortunately, the one-and-only battery recharger malfunctioned after about 9 days and we had to go back on analogs for almost a week while we waited for a replacement. We were both completely disgusted by analogs, even though it hadn't even been 2 full weeks and we were smoking the same brand we'd always smoked.

In retrospect, I'm glad it happened. I know now that both of us will never go back to analogs. We've already discovered that a gas station in town sells disposable e-cigs, so if all heck breaks loose and we are without our e-cigs for whatever reason, we have a backup plan that doesn't include analogs.

The first month I vaped, I took a couple of analogs the first few days. Then it was one a week, going out. Smelling the others smoking trigered something in me, sp I bummed one every weekend the first couple of weeks.. On week 4 or 5 since I started vaping, I lit up an analog, got sick with the first drag and threw it away.. Since then I don't get any ideas when smelling others smoke.. Just wanna get away so I can breathe...ydrk. Those people stink so bad!!!
But found out that I liked the TH on an ecig so much, it gave me much more than any analog could.. A cig only gives TH when you've smoked half of it.. And its a harsh, unpleasant one. Kind of funny, cus never thought about TH before I started vaping.. My throat was becomming so wrecked from smoking(14 years) that the last part of the cig was kinda to harsh for me.. was putting them out sooner and sooner..

I've been vaping for 4 mos. but the few analogs I had were still pretty good. Actually I get a wicked buzz off them now.

Yea, I'm afraid I could go back to smoking if I had to even after 5 months. I tried one a couple weeks ago and it certainly didn't taste as good as the vapes, but I still found it enjoyable. I guess I'm just a hardcore smoker to the end. Thank goodness for vaping or I would have proved it.

I've been craving an analog lately. Cut it close waiting for a new Cisco 306 to get here in the mail, but I got it this morning so I'm back to vaping full force. Maybe having an analog and finding out it's the nastiest thing in the world would actually keep me on track, but for now I'm managed to narrowly avoid it.

Yup! Right there with ya! So sad but so true.

2 Leos, basically 2-3 egos (so many parts and batts) 2 e9 models (from mall), a kr8, passthroughs
50 carts, tons of juice.... made certain my auxiliary power port in car works in case lighter goes out.
Two power port-usb adapters...... you get the idea :)

I took the hardcore approach. Leave the house with tons of spare everything!

I've been vaping for a few months now and still smoke a few analogs every day. I could care less as 2-3 organic tobacco cigs that I make for myself are a far cry from 40-50 corporate cigs I used to smoke. My last doctor visit the doctor said, you really to QUIT, uh huh, I told her that as far as I was concerned, 2-3 cigs isn't smoking as I know it. When I decided to try vaping, it was more or less "let's see if this works, if so, great, if not, I keep smoking".. no one likes a quitter :) . The difference with analogs now is I smoke them for enjoyment, not NEED. I rather like to sit on the porch and fire one up after dinner.

For sure man. I started by buying 10 eGos and a whole case of cartomizers. Good thing I did because 4 of the eGos have failed so far. No biggie though, I have a few mods and only my wife uses the eGos now. I also have a couple liters of juice on-hand for the both of us.
