Thanks for your responses I was just about to buy the 30w for $30 then saw a deal for the 50w for only $39 and couldn't resist the extra battery life.

Damn that's cheap, I paid £43 for mine, or equivalent to 65 usd. And that is for the 30w...

I recently bought the I stick 50 and luv it. I want to purchase another but should I go for the 30 instead? I learned im a tootle puffer so wattage isn't an issue. I chose the 50 because the battery power but wonder if the 30 would be better for me.

I'm in the exact opposite situation. I am charging my 30W twice a day. I need to upgrade to a larger capacity battery.

For those that have the iStick with a case on it, does the case make it hard to slide in and out of your pocket? Silicone is pretty grippy and silicone cases on smartphones kind of suck because of it.

I'd like to get a matte type finish case if possible. Can these be acquired?

My BF has a silicon one. It makes putting it in and out of the pocket more difficult. But it is far less likely to slip out. It's kind of 50/50

Yeah, definitely get a 30w, because they have far fewer problems than the 50w's, and when your 50w suddenly decides to start auto-firing, you'll be glad to have that 30w.

Can't always wait for the "next one" or you'll never buy anything. I think the 30w will be perfect for my needs. Hopefully it arrives early next week.

As I phase out my 20w iSticks I'm replacing them with 30w models. More than enough power for me, and the whole design provides a perfect plethora of puffing pleasure. Are there other mods? Who knew.

I think you made the right choice, but it IS all about what ohms you've vaping at. Even considering that, however, the 50W lasts me a LOT more than twice as long as the 30W. I'm using a Matrix at 0.6 ohms / 45W on the 50 and it gets me through a day going through 15-20mL of juice while my 30W won't last through 8 ml in a Kanger Mini at 1.5 ohms and 13W.

As far as the 30 watt goes, I just bought a sub tank mini and using it at 30 watts with the .5 coil the vapor is pretty warm and plentiful. It works best at about 25 watts. So its plenty capable of using sub ohm tanks down to the .4 that it allows.
