i think the problem is the delivery device which is not powerful enough, not the juice.i use to smoke 50 a day marlboro red and switched overnight to e-cig using the joy 510(many technical problems still, but awesome when it works).
remember, you will never get the same flavour from an e-cig as the PG is kind of sweet but if you give it a little time you will find it more enjoyable than an analog.you will be also missing the other nasty chemicals in regular cigs, not a big deal for me personaly.if you are a big smoker try not to get a really concentration juice as nicotine is a poison and the whole point of this thing is switching to a healthier alternative.
i get enough satisfaction from the 11mg or sometimes the 18 mg juice and im looking to resuce my nicotine intake even further.

good luck

I have now purchased 2 DSE103's (Super Mini) and I have bought 400 cartridges of varying strengths and flavors. I have also bought some Johnson Creek eliquid (highest strength 24mg) and have a total of 4 atomizers. I have been trying to use this along with my wife for the past 4 or 5 months with no success. It always seems that they don't even suffice for a cigarette almost comparable to a Marlboro Ultra Super Light or less.

I have tried different atomizers and everything with no success. I have read through loads of pages from this site during the entire 5 months. My objective is to switch to this electronic cigarette for good but it is just not working. I keep craving a real cigarette.

I quit smoking for 24 hours, and then used the super mini, and low and behold "no buzz at all" only a slight (very very slight) tingle on my tongue and that is it. So then I waited an hour then smokes a marlboro red (my regular brand) and BAM, full buzz, tongue fully tingling, lips tingling, everything that should happen when you haven't smoked for 24 hours.

Obviously there is not enough nocotine in any of the high nic cartriges I bought and the same goes for the Johnson Creek eliquid.

Could this all have to do with the freebased nicotine in the regular ciagarettes? Could increasing the Ph of the eliquid increase the available freebased nicontine available like it does in real cigarettes?

I am not looking to quit smoking or even to drop to a Marlboro light (or the like). I am simply looking for a healthier alternative to tar while still having the benefits of smoking.

Did I just choose the wrong eliquid or something? Should I have gone with a better eliquid that from Johnson Creek? Or should I make my own?

I agree with others as to the penstyle as I have not had any real issues with mine. I would like to stress that the e-cig isnt a stop smoking device although many have had success in doing so. Don't beat yourself up about it and with everything the e-cig takes time to get use to and as I call it trial and error on learning to what juices and model is best for you. I wish you luck and success.

I realize that the taste will be different and I look forward to tasting something nice instead of the garbage tasting analogs. The whole problem was that after smoking the super mini, it seriously felt like I had not smoked at all. As I mentioned after 24 hours of not smoking at all, super mini gave no buzz, then 1 hour later I smoked an analog and the analog gave me a big buzz.

It may be that the super mini cannot avaporate enough nic, but the problem is that I bought the super mini because I liked having it small like the analogs, so I guess I need to see if the 36mg will work in the super mini. Maybe I can always get a pen style as a backup or something.

I've had my 901 for one week today. Still testing things, still having an analog about twice a day. I think the smoke is "heavier" with an analog, if that makes any sense, and I miss it. I'm not getting much vapor so am frustrated with the whole e-cig thing. I ordered liquid, and after topping off/dripping, I get a FEW good puffs, but that's about it. I am very disappointed in the cart life, I'm barely vaping and the carts run out way too soon. No where near 7 or more cigs.

If you are vaping 36 mg liquid theres no way you are not getting enough nicotine. The highest amount of nic liquid i have tried is the 16mg from puresmoker and that already hits like a rock. Thats coming from a lucky strikes smoker, marlboro reds, 555 smoker that later switched to lights.

I think the problem might either be the JC juice or the device you are using like has been mentioned, or maybe a little bit of both.

Im still smoking analogs but not because i need it, but because when im outside home, its just so much more convenient smoking analogs. In my car and when im at home though, i strictly vape or actually wherever theres a usb port, i vape.

No, I have not tried 36mg yet. I just ordered it last night and I am being very optimistic about it. I am hoping that will work for the super mini.

I think you all are right, it must be the JC Juice or the device. (maybe both)

Curious question though? You said, "wherever theres a usb port, i vape"? What does a USB port have to do with anything? Do you have a USB charger or something?

Duckies just answered the question for me :) You get 100% full power all the time.

Just be careful with high strength nicotine liquids. You dont want your body to be addicted to such high amounts of nicotine and the health hazards involved. Withdrawal will be hell :(

I usually use 8mg liquids but i vape a lot.

Liquids i personally recommend are from puresmoker and totally wicked. JC had a slew of bad rep and problems so i have not bought from them before but then again there are a lot of people who are satisfied and happy with JC liquids. My best advice would be to go and buy liquids from different suppliers to try what best works for you.

Vapor, taz3cat and Duckies; Thank you very much for letting me know about the passthrough USB. That is definately so very cool. I am soooo getting one. That way I can eliminate a low battery as the culprit.

I am also now looking at getting another model to try out. I am so very tired of these crappy analogs. What do you all suggest as the best model? I heard the 901 creates a ton of vapor, or was it the long totem. I am thinking a pen style or something.

BTW Saboteur, the "buzz" means the feeling when you haven't had a cig in 8 hrs and finally step outside and light up only to promptly melt into the pavement.

(This is an update on my previous answer.)

Received 36mg of Vanilla Vice and Crisp Menthol from VaporNine today.

I now know what a "buzz" is.
