I have now purchased 2 DSE103's (Super Mini) and I have bought 400 cartridges of varying strengths and flavors. I have also bought some Johnson Creek eliquid (highest strength 24mg) and have a total of 4 atomizers. I have been trying to use this along with my wife for the past 4 or 5 months with no success. It always seems that they don't even suffice for a cigarette almost comparable to a Marlboro Ultra Super Light or less.
I have tried different atomizers and everything with no success. I have read through loads of pages from this site during the entire 5 months. My objective is to switch to this electronic cigarette for good but it is just not working. I keep craving a real cigarette.
I quit smoking for 24 hours, and then used the super mini, and low and behold "no buzz at all" only a slight (very very slight) tingle on my tongue and that is it. So then I waited an hour then smokes a marlboro red (my regular brand) and BAM, full buzz, tongue fully tingling, lips tingling, everything that should happen when you haven't smoked for 24 hours.
Obviously there is not enough nocotine in any of the high nic cartriges I bought and the same goes for the Johnson Creek eliquid.
Could this all have to do with the freebased nicotine in the regular ciagarettes? Could increasing the Ph of the eliquid increase the available freebased nicontine available like it does in real cigarettes?
I am not looking to quit smoking or even to drop to a Marlboro light (or the like). I am simply looking for a healthier alternative to tar while still having the benefits of smoking.
Did I just choose the wrong eliquid or something? Should I have gone with a better eliquid that from Johnson Creek? Or should I make my own?
