So my lava tube has problems now. It turns on and off my itself, and when it does turn on the voltage is reseted to 3.0. However, if I change the voltage to 4.5V (for example) it will fire up at 4.5V but then after releasing the fire button and then I check the voltage, it is at 3.0V again! D:

This means the fire buttons are working and so are the battery. Pulled the spring out a little, no luck. Cleaned the inside and threads, no luck. It is officially alive, this thing. :lol:

~~~
On a side note, since I was thinking of changing this, I was wondering whether should I get
- A Provari; but that's gonna cost me $300-$500 and I haven't got that much cash D:
- A Koozy + Multimeter = cheaper, performance wise fairly the same and I did be able to check my resistance on my DIY coils. (by the way, if y'all know where to get suede leather so I can wrap it around my Koozy, let me know too!)
I think the only thing that is stopping me from getting the Koozy is the fact that the batteries can't couple up to 2000mAh, unlike the Provari which I have 2200 mAh batteries for. 2 of them in fact. Because the 2200mAh won't even last me a day.
Any advise about this? And thoughts? Don't scold me for fcuking up my LT again D: D: D:
I believe those aren't AW IMRs and could be some cheap batts, so, maybe they're not true mAh ratings.
Since u said u haven't tt much cash, y bother abt e ProVari...?
A cheap option for VV wld be ITaste or eGo-C Twist. They're cheaper and if u wreck them, u can easily get spares.
I'm not sure abt KS's Koozy since u can wreck a hardy LT, u might just crush e Koozy... Unless KS allows u at least a mth warranty or smtg... Just thinking.
Somewhere in SG ^_^
Ouch I feel for you :( I fell in love with my SMOK VMax & that works well for me. Unfortunately I'm not sure if any SG suppliers sells those unless one pops out & says Hi! "Hint, Hint". Got mine in Bolehland and I think the price is worth it since it performs quite closed to the Provari for half the price. My other set is the Ego-C twist 1100mAH, one battery from Bolehland the other is on the way from a local supplier :)
I'm currently using an eGo Twist, bought another one from one of the suppliers long ago as a spare in case something happened.
I didn't drop it; only once or twice and it was still working though...
--- Wait a minute now it is working. Again. Bi-Polar lava tube T__T
EDIT: It doesnt' work again. Gahh...
hmm. ya lor shld be internals problem la.
surprisingly my lt looks damn well made when i first opened mine as well. i went "wow". hahaha.
oh, i dont leave my cartos on overnight. i usually take apart everything, like carto and batt and leave the bottom cap off as well. so if anything, overnight it should dry up and also not risk any juice leaking in. thats just a precaution on my side luh.
sad that your lt is bi-polar.
just a thought.. maybe its the juice over flow inside .. happened to my LT (when it first came out), the LT went firing randomly without touching the button.. try cleaning and let it dry, mine was ok after a few days
I'll try :) thanks for the advise! I cleaned out the circuit board and stuff but i'll leave it overnight with the top cap out :)
