Our friend came over today. He's been trying to quit smoking for a long time. He saw our PV's and asked about them so, of course, I told him all about them.

He lives with his gf who is very anti-smoking and SHE HATES HIM SMOKING. Anyway, he HAPPENED to just have $60 on him and instantly wanted to buy some PV stuff.

I ordered him an EGO kit from Liberty Flights ($40) some cartomizers, and a drip tip. I drip so he might like it also. I gave him about 30ml of juice total of stuff that I absolutely hated but he liked. Its the cigarette tasting kinda juice from a couple places here. Some cartos and some cartridges.

Now, *I* myself just started vaping 2 weeks ago. I started with a 510 and then my husband got a Riva kit from LF.

I lent him all my 510 stuff! Just to borrow and I'll probably have it back in a week.

I just really felt sorry for him, he has his stuff ordered but might not get it till Thursday or Friday and I don't want him buying a pack of cigarettes.

NOW, My husband and I are vaping on the 2 Riva batteries we got with his kit. One charger, 2 vapers...I hope it goes okay hehe

Ahh well, at least I've converted someone whom I care about to vape and save money, not to mention his health. I feel good :) I told him about these forums and the myriad of videos that he can watch to learn about vaping.

Oh, I also gave him a 510 pt that someone here pif'd to me. I can't seem to get it to work, I think because the usb extension cord I have doesn't put out enough...volts? or whatever it is that it needs.

Anyway, yay!

My best friend quit smoking a few years back, right before he got married, at the wife's request. He said it was hard, but he made it look easy. He just quit and never complained. However on occasion he will comment about taking a drag off mine or something, and naturally I don't let him. I am thinking perhaps that if he keeps getting urges then maybe a 0-nic PV solution might work for him and possibly also give me a buddy to vape with. Then again, I would also be afraid that it would bring back the old habit of smoking and he would go back to analogs. Something I will discuss with him tomorrow I think while we're out.

Nice! It feels so good when we can get others to at least try vaping...I have 2 co-workers now vaping & some family members are also now joining the bandwagon. I found that having a few people around to learn with (along with this wonderful forum) :) helps the process of quitting the anologs & learning all that goes with vaping is so helpful.
