I am new and I have read and re-read many of the threads. I think I have decided to get a Go-Go. I see that I need to order it from CigEasy because they may be the only one that has it in stock. I was thinking of a T-Rex before reading about the Go-Go.

If someone would be willing to tell me what else I need to get, that would be wonderful. Does CigEasy carry the tips? I'm thinking I need to get juice and extra cartomizers. What else do I need?

Is there a good carrying case, or is it needed since I don't have to carry as much around with it.

I am so excited about this. I did quit smoking for a year once, by using the patches and the nicotine inhaler, so I'm thinking this will be so much better. In that year, I never stopped wanting a cigarette. I would go sit in the the smoking section of amusement parks just to smell the second-hand smoke. I found myself standing closer and closer to smokers.

My son has been asking me to go ahead and order something. I have been trying to sort it all out, but he is really anxious. We are planning a trip to Universal Studios in the next few days, so I need to have everything ready and enough of it. I get so tired of hotels that don't allow smoking and it frustrates me that so many places are banning it from outside areas. I just need to get this monkey off my back.

It sounds like the Go-Go may be an easy way to get into this without having to upgrade in a couple of weeks. It also sounds like it may be easier to use.

An easy shopping list would be of great help to me. I need to get about three weeks or a months worth at a time. I smoke L&M Light (Blue) 100's. I smoke about 1 1/2 packs per day.

I hope CigEasy has fast shipping.

I haven't seen anything about dripping with the Go-Go. Is it possible?

Thanks so much!

If you buy the Gogo you should also get the following.

Extra Go Carts

That's all you will actually need.
And some juice. Can't help you on the juice. I don't do juice. I never recommend juice flavors as tastes are subjective. I like Maple Cream in 18mg. I like the Marlboro flavor that is preloaded into the cartos that Cigeasy sells. I would start at 18mg and buy a bottle of 0mg tobacco flavor to mix for the preferred nic strength.
Yes, you can drip with a gogo. Just pull the filler out of a carto and use it as an atomizer. Works great.

Cigeasy is sold out of gogos right now but is expecting more shortly. So is Nhaler. I'd wait on the gogo if I were you. Oh yeah. If you want a nice case, the ego carry case works perfect with the gogo for extended travel.

nhaler.com is very well respected supplier here on the forum and Drew carries the GO-GO. I would suggest you start out with e-liquid in the 24mg strength to make the transition easier. You definitely want some extra atomizer/cartomizers - probably 4 or 5 to start. Most people vape 3-5 ml of eliquid a day. Although it costs a little more, you may want to get a number of 5ml bottles of eliquid in different flavors to try and find ones you like. Here is nhalers' web site:

A Go-Go is an excellent PV I would love to have one myself, but I don't think it is the best choice as a first PV.

Go-Go has a proprietary thread, and thus far there are no readily available adapters for them. Go-Go has a 3 mil carto on it with no options for anything smaller or a standard atomizer. So as a new vaper you will be forced to sample juices 3 mil at a time, that is a whole days worth of juice for some people. If you get a juice you don't like you will be forced to endure a whole days worth of it before you can change the flavor.

Go-GO is great for someone who knows the juices they like. I don't think it is so good for beginning vaping.

I'm thinking she probably wants the gogo for the big cartomizer and long battery life for her trip. You're right- that might be a downside- if you don't like the juice you're sort of stuck with a lot of it in your carto. But if you do, that'd be an excellent pv if your walking around an amusement park all day.

Having a pv will definitely make your trip much better! No more feeling like a second class citizen checking into hotels.

Ummm not any more. Cigeasy has a go-go to 808 adapter. That means you can use 808 cartos with it. It also means you can use a 901 atomizer and a drip tip. If you want to get a go-go starting out, I recommend you get that adapter, some 808 cartos, a 901 atomizer, and a 901 drip tip. Use the atomizer to sample juices for flavor. Then use the juice in a 808 carto to make sure the nic level works for you. Then you can go to one of those all day go-go cartos.

You also might try to find an 801 drip tip to use with the go-go cartos. I understand they are pretty big around.

801 drip tips are too small. check the gogo threads in the ego-type sub-forum -- I can't remember all the different things everyone uses. A couple of them: The whistle tip of an 801 cartridge fits ok, or you can try one of the ego-t drip tips (you'll have to search the gogo threads to find out which one). You can also just keep it the way it comes... you'll probably get used to it quickly.

Are you looking for a new hobby or just an alternative to smoking? If you're just looking for an alternative to smoking then the go-go is a good choice. No hassles and consistent vapor. All you'll need is a kit, an extra pack of cartomizers and e-juice.

Don't worry about testing flavors. As already mentioned, just pull the filler out of one of the cartomizers and drip 3 or 4 drops down the side to try a new flavor.

I hope you're able to find something before your trip. Good luck!

This is OP. I can't find the Go-Go in stock.

I appreciate all the help I have been given.

I am not looking for a hobby, just a convenient alternative to smoking. I really need to get off regular cigs. I want it as easy as it can be, so I don't find analogs more convenient. LOL!

I want to experience the health benefits of non-smoking. My goal is to replace smoking with vaping.

What would be another easy choice I could use until the Go-Go gets in. Not sure if it will be available before the Universal part of my trip.

By the way, they converted all rooms at Universal Hotels to non-smoking on March 1, 2011.

Thanks!

You aren't going to find out that the nic level is making you dizzy until you've been using it a while. Having been there, it would totally SUCK to have a go-go carto filled with something that made me ill. That's why I was recommending using 808 cartos for a little bit when you're new. Once he gets to the point where he knows what works for him, he won't need them.

To the OP, it won't be a go-go but, a Riva 510 kit on Liberty Flights with a box or two of Boge cartos would be a good choice and it's pretty inexpensive.

I agree. I use a gogo as my main PV. I also have a Riva SE starter kit as a constant back up. I keep one riva and 5 boge lr cartos in an old SNUS tin with various flavors and the other riva with an atty for dripping. But the gogo is my pack of smokes replacement.

You know what- they're new.

They may be excellent but they haven't been out a long time. This happened to me with the tanks. As soon as I heard the first feedback I wanted one and I personally think they were released too soon and the bugs weren't out. Now I decided I'm going to wait a few months on new things before jumping in.

It may be great, but it's new. Especially for a new, never before vapor.

Have you thought about a standard ego? Get some cartos and fill them for the day. One 1000 mah batter lasts all day and the 650 batteries last about 8 hours.

I'd hate to see you go away and have trouble with something. But I'm a pretty cautious person.

nhaler is a great vendor though. Super fast shipping and he also has great juice. That's almost all I use.
