I read all about people raving about all of the flavors out there and wish I could find ones that I don't have to doctor up. The only one I have found yet is Chocolate Banana. I just seem to require a very strong taste in my vaping. I have veen vaping for over 3 months and I vape 0 nic. What is wrong with me. I have tried all sorts of different vendors and the CB is the only one that I don't doctor. What uis wrong with me.

You're not strange at all, or both of us are. I've gotten to the point where, with a couple of exceptions, I can tell that I'll probably like a flavor if most people hate it. If everyone seems to love it, then I'll probably hate it- or need to add another flavor to make it ok. I do like CB. You may want to go DIY, since it sounds like you're sort of doing that anyway. there may also be a difference since you're vaping 0 nic. I'm at 24 mg, getting ready to slooowwwwly move to 18 mg

What's CB? I like strong flavors.

Folks love V4L juices because they have the same broad set of flavor options as Dekang only way better and actually yummy tasting. V4L juices are the Jelly Bellies of the e-liquid world. That's not to say there aren't gourmet restaurants out there with some top shelf recipes, but if you want a big selection of yummy flavors - V4L is the benchmark.

CB = Chocolate Banana

Taste buds ride a roller coaster when we switch over from smoking. I still have days that my liquids all taste off after a year (taste buds regenerating or something odd, dunno... but it goes away).

Liquid I hated when I first started I love today (hint, keep things you think are weak or don't taste good for a while and revisit them later). I have a rough time with Chinese liquids (perfumy/chemical taste in most of them) so most of the time I go with the USA made liquid suppliers.

Sounds like you would do better with doctoring up what you have or making DIY liquids then. This forum could be helpful to you DIY e-liquid - E-Cigarette Forum

Recipes are here: E-liquid Recipes - E-Cigarette Forum

Hang in there and try to buy sample bottles first or low cost liquids at sales or off the classifieds from other members on ECF.

Don't forget the social group that is new that does juice exchanges. Great way to try out liquids (you'll need to invest in some small bottles to participate) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...new-social-group-created-flavor-exchange.html

No, you are not strange. I have tried about 50 flavors including V4L, Johnson's Creek, Nhaler and the much ballyhooed TastyVapor and Ms. T's and I like a grand total of 7.8-o so in other words about 85% of the juices I have tried I do not like.

Now to be fair only a handful have been downright awful but the others were just (to me) eh.

I have tried nearly every flavor V4L has. I have actually been posting my little reviews on the V4L website about every flavor as well. Alot of the flavors i hated others loved and a lot that others loved i hated. Its all just a matter of opinion.

I have yet to mix any flavors and i also have the CB sitting over by my Xbox right now that i think im going to go crack into in about 30seconds. It better be as good as everyone says or so help me... i will be sad!

My problem seems to be not that I don't like the taste of the various juices but that the flavor is not strong enough for me. I taste very little flavor in most juices.:(

hmmmm vaping pure flavor... that would be interesting... mwaha wonder how pure vanilla extract would taste

Just counted up my juice flavors... I have 37 separate flavors on hand. Yet I haven't vaped a straight flavor for I don't know how long.

I love doctoring! That's not a bad thing at all. It's actually pretty awesome that we can mix and match our way to the perfect flavor.

A personal favorite is 3 parts black tea, 2 parts green tea, .5 parts spearmint - makes a great sweet tea!

Could it be the type of e-cigarette you're using, rather than the liquids? I've found that I get a lot more flavor from a pen-style atomizer, especially when using mild tobacco or sweet/fruity liquids, than from a 510, which I only like for very strong tobacco flavors.
It might be worthwhile getting a couple of adapters and trying out various types of atomizer before giving up on finding flavors you can taste and/or like.

I have had the same problem with a pen style and also my Vapor King. I guess I just need a stronger flavor than most to be able to really taste it. :(

That is a good point... my liquids taste different in my 510 when compared to the same liquid in my 801/302 penstyle.

Doctor them up babe! I put little extras here and there all the time in my juices. Ces- Im with you on that. If most people like them I hate them. If they dont, I love them. For instance I know of personally nobody that like the american Rath juice. But For a tabacco flavor I love it a lot. And my fav is to mix Tasty Vapor's Tabacco with Rath at 24mg so it ends up 50/50 vg/pg mix with the best of both worlds and taste. Thats my all day with the blank cartos and a manual XL in hotshot blue. Also for a change of pace I like red cow vg with green teapg and thats nice too. And then that dang Mary kay made me try ry4 and I pop that in every now and then. Ahhh You got Mary Kay you got me!

Also its good to remember that as much as the juice is important, your hardware is too. Every part is different and it changes flavors draws vapor production and other suddle things. So its good to specify what your using when doing a review. So you guys are absolutley right things taste different in different e-cigs!

Have you ever tried diyflavorshack? Dawn allows you to buy "double the flavor" for an additional 50 cents.

I think Yanks makes a good point with this one. I find the lower the nic or 0 you will find there is like hardly any flavor. For most of us the nic is what makes the flavors change. I now find myself vaping a variety of flavors in 0 to 18 mg just because of flavor. I firmly believe that the flavor is placed with the high nic and they just cut like we do with the glycerin which does water down the flavor INMO. I think your best bet is find a flavor you like and spike it with the flavor drops.

She won't join the forum. Tho she might be sneaking around in here somewhere. :)

I love mixing flavors - I like variety. So one evolving carto can go thru 15 mutations before I call it "punch", or "chocolate almond mint rum orange clove vanilla gingerbread maple bubblegum strangeness." Things get alternately wonderful and awful, like life.
